What you'll do
* As an architect assigned to a client project, you will typically work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts
* Assist clients in their journey to Microsoft Azure or leverage their existing investment in it - you can expect a significant focus on applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies

* Complete pricing, using standard solution architecture processes, methods, estimating, and modelling tools to drive quality and minimize time to solution through process and reuse. Understand and leverage different Pricing Models and work with Sales Leads to articulate deal pricing. Ensuring a deal is both winnable and deliverable, mitigating potential risks
Skills and experiences
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft;
* Awareness of channels to market and how to work in a Microsoft and partner eco system to ensure Customer Success.
* High energy intent to help clients understand product and service evolution. Including Azure Open AI, Fabric and Co-Pilot
* Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Funding processes such as ECIF, GTM Solution Plays / Marketplace and GTM Workshop Offers
* Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high-level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large programs of work that involve platforming/re-platforming Data Solutions within Azure cloud, utilizing tools such as Databricks and Synapse
* Capability in creating design artifacts and presenting them for approval at architectural forums attended by multi-disciplined stakeholders from engineering to senior ("C level") client executives
* Experience in designing and delivering large-scale Data Platform solutions using relevant approaches (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.)

As a Senior Critical Environment Technician (CET) in Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, you will maintain the critical infrastructure that keeps our Datacenters up and running. + Serve as an operations specialist in one major area of CE operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, generators) and works on advanced tasks independently.

+ Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and to complete work order requests for maintenance work.
+ Safely and quickly respond to and leads onsite incident response teams for all abnormal conditions that impact operations, and coordinates with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs without supervision.
+ Enhance, develop new or follow preexisting emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in relation to CE operations and incidents.
+ Perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CE equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, cooling systems) and escalate when appropriate.
+ Have a hands-on understanding of how equipment works and how to troubleshoot equipment, systems, subsystems, and components independently within their trained discipline(s).
+ Provides consultation to lower-level colleagues in troubleshooting systems and problems.
+ Understands, follows, and ensures safety and security requirements (e.g., job hazard assessments (JHAs), environmental health and safety (EH&S), toolbox talks), and business processes and procedures to properly perform work in a safe, quality, and reliable manner in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and Microsoft requirements.
