Job Title
Digital & Brand Marketing Strategist - COREtec Floors
Position Overview
In 2012, COREtec® sparked a revolution in the world of hard flooring. What makes us different? A 100% waterproof core and a durable cork underlay. A new category of high‑quality multilayer flooring was born: COREtec®. We're the original - and you can feel it. Today, COREtec is part of Shaw Industries, a global Berkshire Hathaway flooring group, and this is your opportunity to help grow an established international brand as it expands across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
We're looking for a Digital & Brand Marketing Strategist to own brand, content, and campaign marketing for COREtec Floors across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands‑on, digital‑first role for a builder‑of‑brands who can both set the strategy and execute it - running the social channels, creating the content, and getting targeted campaigns live that drive real sell‑through. You'll work hand‑in‑hand with the sales team, our Melbourne‑based creative agency, and the global USFloors brand team, with the autonomy to run the ANZ marketing function as your own. Based in Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney, this is a largely in‑office role (around four to five days a week) at the heart of our ANZ business.
Responsibilities
+ Brand Building & Awareness: Own COREtec's brand and awareness across ANZ, with a strong emphasis on social - keeping the brand consistent while adapting global USFloors guidelines to the local market.
+ Social & Paid Digital: Run the social ecosystem - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn - across both organic and paid, with a focus on cost‑effective, tightly targeted ads rather than broad spend.
+ Audience Targeting & Data: Build B2B campaigns that reach our customers and the trade directly. Source and use audience data to power and sharpen those campaigns.
+ Content Creation: Produce and adapt on‑brand content for online and offline channels using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign), including photo and video built for social.
+ Campaign & Retail Display Rollout: Plan and project‑manage in‑market activations and retail display rollouts end to end - coordinating international supply and logistics timing, installation schedules, and sales‑training windows so everything lands on time. You'll partner with the sales team, including a Sydney‑based colleague, on execution.
+ Agency, Reporting & Stakeholders: Manage the creative/media agency and freelancers, analyse and report on campaign and agency performance, and present plans and results to APAC leadership - operating independently with a regular check‑in cadence with the ANZ lead.
Requirements
+ Experience: Minimum 3 years in a marketing role, ideally in building products, flooring, interiors, homewares, or a related trade, retail, or interior design sector.
+ Digital Skills: Proven hands‑on experience across social media, email marketing, and paid digital advertising (Meta, Google).
+ Content & Creative: Ability to create and adapt engaging content, brief agencies, manage creative production, and maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
+ Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both trade and consumer audiences.
+ Tools: Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom).
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
+ Location: Based in Melbourne or Sydney, with the right to work in Australia.
Highly Preferred Experiences
+ A track record running cost‑effective, targeted B2B social campaigns (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) aimed at trade and builder audiences.
+ Data‑savvy - sourcing, segmenting, and using audience data to build and optimise targeted campaigns.
+ Project‑management strength - coordinating multi‑market campaign and retail‑display rollouts, including international supply timing and installation scheduling.
+ A self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and light direction, comfortable owning a marketing function largely solo with agency support.
+ Video and photography content creation for social (e.g., Premiere Pro).
+ Experience in flooring or building materials, or adapting global brand guidelines to local markets.
+ A genuinely digital‑first background - adjacent fields welcome (data/analytics, agency, or tech) with a strong portfolio to show for it.
