**How will you make an impact?**
The Product Specialist - Industrial and Gas will be responsible for driving customer success through technical sales expertise in the assigned territory. The field-based role will combine business development and technical knowledge to develop growth across of gas detection, testing and compliance solutions for a varied range of industrial enterprises.
Working closely with customers to identify and understand the best solutions for their needs and deliver safe and effective outcomes. Collaborating with Product Management, Commercial, Technical, and Service teams, to establish and continue Thermo Fisher Scientific as supplier of choice by delivering tailored solutions, executing territory strategies, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline aligned to commercial objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Sales Execution & Territory Management**
+ Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (AOP) with alignment of organisation margin objectives.
+ Develop, implement, and regularly update strategic territory and account plans.
+ Maintain existing business while identifying and developing new accounts and market segments.
+ Execute an effective call cycle, including face-to-face (x 10 / week) and virtual customer (x 7 / week) engagements in line with organisational metrics.
+ Provide accurate sales forecasting, demand tracking, and opportunity funnel management.
**Product & Technical Expertise**
+ Promote the Gas and Industrial portfolio, including lone worker, portable and fixed gas safety detection devices, as well as testing and compliance devices for industry.
+ Develop a strong technical understanding of customer applications, regulatory environments, and workflow requirements.
+ Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and customer training activities.
+ Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships, Customer Care, Technical Support and Service teams to grow the business, resolve customer issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
+ Participate in internal product training and relevant industry scientific meetings and conferences.
**Market Intelligence & Collaboration**
+ Gather and report market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback (including win/loss insights)
+ Support Product Management with inventory planning, forecasting, and go-to-market initiatives.
+ Work cross-functionally to support a whole-of-business sales approach.
**Pipeline, CRM & Compliance**
+ Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM system (updated weekly).
+ Ensure forecast accuracy within agreed tolerances.
+ Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and contribute to a safe working environment.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Sciences, Occupational Hygiene, and/or equivalent
**Experience**
+ Minimum 4 - 8years of technical sales experience in relevant applications like Gas Detection/Workplace Safety, and/or Testing and Compliance
+ Demonstrated sales success with technical products and service.

**About the Role:**

+ Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering teams, various (global) IT teams and vendors to quickly resolve IT system issues, minimizing business impact, maintaining system availability and reliability.
+ Support application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching coordination, access reviews, testing, migration, and retirement planning.
+ Support IT Compliance and Quality to generate, review, approve, and control departmental documentation (e.g. SOPs, specifications, etc.) and assist with internal and external quality audits.
+ Ensures implementation of and adherence to current GMP rules, Quality policies, procedures and instructions for his/her area of responsibility.
+ Ensures contribution and support of periodic reviews such as audit trail reviews, access reviews and other GxP related reviews.

**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
**Experience**
+ At least 5 years' experience in IT business analysis, manufacturing IT, application support, IT project delivery, or systems engineering.
+ Experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare manufacturing, or another regulated manufacturing environment would be ideal

**About the Role:**
As part of our global team, you'll have the opportunity to provide administrative and technical support to the Project Team. As a Clinical Operations Delivery Associate II, you'll support audit readiness by ensuring files are reviewed according to the schedule detailed in the organization's SOP and department guidance document. + May complete the 'Site Interest Plan' in CTMS and collection and delivery of associated documents from investigators and site personnel. Document in real time all communication, attempts and follow up associated with site contact and survey responses.
