The Role
Reporting to the Digital Team Assistant Director, the agile coach is responsible for coordinating the efforts of an agile multidisciplinary team in the management of a data-driven web application and building agile capability more broadly across the team.

Agile coach responsibilities include:

• Working with the business owners to maintain a backlog of user stories.
• Generating acceptance criteria for user stories
• Working with the team to manage and prioritise tasks over the duration of a sprint in Agile/Kanban project management tools.
• Experience leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team in a fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities and building agile capability across the team.
• Broad familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, rituals and reporting. Demonstrated ability to build this capability in others.
• Organised and responsive with a firm grasp of which qualities most impact usability and technical performance.
• Manage the requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure deliverables meet user and technical needs.

Contract Term: 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025 with 2x12 months extension options.

Location: The department will accept candidates from across Australia and have a flexible working arrangements in place. 

Eligibility:  To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and willing to undergo Baseline security clearance.
