The Role

This organisation are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting financial operations, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger
• Support month-end close processes (journals, prepayments, accruals)
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and collections
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and provide necessary documentation for audits.
  
  

Your Profile:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or a related role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency with ERP accounting software and MS Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
