Elements of Byron is an award-winning Beach front resort, nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise in Byron Bay. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to be in their Element as our Assistant Spa Manager, working 4 days a week, Fri - Mon. Inspired by our natural surrounds, Osprey Spa is committed to creating indulgent experiences where resort guests can relax and reconnect mind and body. Reporting to the Spa Manager your role with be split with providing treatments when required from time to time, with the remainder focused on providing administration , team leadership and support. You will efficiently assist to manage the daily operations of the Spa to maximise revenue and exceed guest expectations. Delivering exceptional customer service by providing quality Spa treatments in accordance with protocols when required, although this is mostly an administrative and team leadership role.This is your ideal job if you love everything wellness amp; spa and are looking for a management role but still love offering treatments on occasion. Full training of our extensive Spa treatment menu and Spa brands: LaGaia amp; Waterlily will be provided. You will be a leader in our team to answer any questions while setting a high standard for grooming and presentation while ensuring a happy and healthy working environment.Responsibilities:Answering and converting phone calls to bookingsSpa-scheduling utilising your accomplished computer skillsConducting financial transactionsMentoring staff, ability to manage time well and able to delegate tasks when necessaryEnsuring the smooth day-to-day running of the the spaEnsuring the Day Spa is maintained in a clean , calm, quiet, relaxed, friendly amp; professional mannerLiaise with all relevant company departments on a daily basis to ensure communication of key issues and challengesMonthly stock-take in line with existing policy guidelines to accurately analyse stock control and forecast future purchasing as requiredHave detailed knowledge of the products amp; services that the Spa provides amp; promotesHandle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries involving group bookingsTo promote a high level of performance, motivation and grooming amongst Spa staffManage all spa administration ensuring accuracy , completeness and prompt deliveryProvide treatments when staff are unable to work due to sickness or vacations.
