We are recruiting for a permanent CAD Administrator with experience in Solidworks for a leading engineering company based in Ringwood, Hampshire.

The company are world leading manufacturers of rigging, suspension and lifting equipment for the entertainment industry. Our equipment is used in film, TV, theatre and events throughout the world.

 

The Cad Administrator will become part of the engineering team and manage the companies Cad data within Solidworks PDM.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • · A good knowledge of Solidworks and PDM with the ability to work unaided essential.
  •  
  • · A good level of competence using the MS Office Package.
  •  
  • · Familiar with standard engineering sections and materials.
  •  
  • · A good understanding of CNC machining capabilities, sheet metal and fabrication.
  •  
  • · An understanding of electrical principles.

Responsibilities:

  • · Maintain existing drawings via Change Notes.
  •  
  • · Create manuals for existing and new products.
  •  
  • · Sending files for sub-contract manufacture.

Salary: £30k - £37k per annum depending on experience

 

Location: Office Based - Ringwood, Hampshire.

 

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:30. (total of 45 hours per week).
