Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse seeking an opportunity to excel in your profession and lead the advancement of clinical practice? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, where you will play a pivotal role supporting clients to access specialised multidisciplinary drug and alcohol services.
You will
demonstrate leadership in your field by serving as a mentor and
resource to fellow healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of
continuous learning and development. Additionally, you will contribute
to the development of clinical processes, policies, and procedures,
promoting the advancement of clinical practice within our
organisation.
In this role, you will navigate the
complexities of a diverse and changing healthcare environment,
ensuring the delivery of optimum standards of nursing care while
acknowledging the limits of time and resources. You will play a
crucial role in managing change and supporting our strategic
direction, aligning with our commitment to "Caring for the Coast" and
delivering patient-centered care. About You
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- You have strong communication, interpersonal and information technology skills to provide complex specialty services and influence innovative nursing practice.
- You have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively
both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary health care
team.
WhereYou’ll Be Working You will
be required to work in the Drug and Alcohol/HIV and Related Programs
(DAS/HARP) Nursing services based at Wyong.
As an employee of

(State) Award and in line with the operational requirements of the
service.
