Full Job Description

Urgently looking for a Chief Business Development Officer to work for a leading international renewable energy firm in Melbourne, Australia. This company has a growing pipeline of utility scale wind and solar projects, and is looking to expand further in Australia as a key market.

As the Chief Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for originating, evaluating and bring to completion the company's renewable energy projects in Australia.

To be considered for this position, the company is looking for experienced Business Development professionals who have a proven track record in sourcing and executing power sector investments in the country's electricity market.

The Business Development professional should also have an established relationship with pertinent stakeholders groups including IPPs, investors, banks, regulator, off-takers/utilities, market service providers in Australia to be considered for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all business development activities of the company taking place within Australia
• Lead the development of new renewable energy projects across Australia and participate in all commercial conversations regarding the company's existing portfolio.
• Work closely with Group Chief Business Development Officer in HQ and the team members to communicate any potential opportunities or leads

Job Requirements

• University degree in relevant discipline
• 15-20 years of Business Development Experience (10 years must be in renewable energy field)
• Demonstrates the ability to work in multinational environment with teams from diverse backgrounds
• Good techno-commercial skills and demonstrates good analytical capabilities
