About the Role

  • 2X Full-Time Permanent Positions Available
  • Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 2 with a salary range of $71,215 - $76,353 per annum + Superannuation

Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.

We have been providing mental health support for over 30 years. We were founded on an alliance between professionals, individuals and their families. Collaborative recovery remains at the heart of who we are today.

About your new role

Community Rehabilitation and Support Workers provide a range of rehabilitation and support to consumers, tailored to meet their individual needs. Neami National's work with consumers occurs within their own community of friends, family and neighbourhood.

The position will work closely with clinical case managers and other community partner organisations to deliver the best possible comprehensive service to consumers. Community Rehabilitation and Support Workers at Neami National function within a collaborative team and recovery approach and are supported by regular opportunities to reflect upon their practice and access comprehensive training and development.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Access to a roadworthy insured vehicle which can be used for work purposes
  • Provide Neami evidence of a Mental Health (or equivalent Human Services or Community Services) qualification of Certificate IV level or above, or complete such a qualification within 2 years of your commencement of employment.
  • Uphold ethical behaviour, consistent with the values of honesty, fairness, responsibility and hope
  • Demonstrate integrity, credibility and foster open communication

What the role requires:

  • National Criminal History Check (Police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Australian Working Rights
