We are currently seeking Diploma Qualified Educators Full-time positions who can deliver a high-quality educational program.

Position Objective

To plan, implement and deliver a high-quality learning experience for all children within the age groups of 6 weeks - 6yrs in line with the current prescribed curriculum requirements (EYLF) and philosophies. As well as to drive the Woodlands Mission and Values.

What will I be doing as a Diploma Qualified Educators?

  • Creating environments for children to flourish, and experience success within an emergent program that responds to children’s interests, culture, knowledge and ideas.
  • Providing educational programs for children 6 weeks to 6 years old 3-year-old.
  • Completing documentation including but not limited to, individual and group observations, transition statements, summative assessments, programs, critical reflections and support plans.
  • Participating in the Campus Quality Improvement Program.
  • Leading a team of educators and role modelling the development and maintenance of respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, colleagues and community contacts.
  • Supporting, guiding and encouraging all educators to participate and contribute to the development of the educational program.
  • Working with community services, and specialists and colleagues.
  • Thorough, regular and clear communication with families about their child’s progress in a respectful and understandable manner.

Requirements

What would make me a good candidate?

  • An understanding of the Approved Learning Frameworks, child development and learning theories.
  • An understanding of the National Quality Standards, ECA Code of Ethics and Child Safe Standards.
  • An understanding of the reflective practise, the ongoing planning cycle and supporting the individual needs of children, and the ability to guide others to contribute.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development to extend understanding of Early Childhood Education and Development.
  • The ability to guide best practices within the Campus.
  • The ability to promote a positive and effective working environment in accordance with the requirements of the position description.
  • Demonstrates highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • A passion for embedding sustainable practices within the Campus.
  • Mental agility to ensure time management and flexible responsiveness.
