Full Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Cert III or Diploma qualifiedEducators to join a well-regarded independent school in Melbournes South East on a full-time basis.

About the service

Our client operates a highly regarded independent school and has recently built an ultra-modern early learning centre to complement the college. The Early Learning Centre is fully equipped with every mod convenience you could imagine and is spread out over six rooms, with three age-appropriate outdoor yards, and is tastefully furnished.

The centre offers flexible educational programs for children aged three to five to learn to apply their newfound knowledge to every aspect of their lives. Also on offer is a range of specialist programs, including Gymbaroo, Languages other than English (LOTE), Values Education and Hey Dee Ho (interactive health program).

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a passion for working with children and a genuine caring nature. You must be a team player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback, and can reflect critically upon best practices.

The requirements

  • Ability to deliver innovative and high-quality educational programs for each individual child.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience is highly desirable
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current First-Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Children Services
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF/VEYLDF.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Childrens Services regulations and National Quality Standards.
  • Strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards.
  • Be flexible and available to work on a rotational fortnightly roster from Monday to Friday.
