West Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Australia’s leading medical research institutes located at the heart of the Westmead Health Precinct. It is a multi-disciplinary institute with research across key themes such as – Infection & Immunity, Cancer, Liver, Neuroscience and Cardio-respiratory.

About your new job

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to utilise all of your strengths and manage various functions within the business. Excitingly no 2 days will be the same and some of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to –
•Provide administrative support to Head of Foundation
•Provide administrative support with all members of the Foundation team, as required, across Major Donors, Strategic Partnerships, Community and Gift in Will areas of fundraising
•Support the implementation of community engagement and fundraising campaigns across all Foundation departments through liaison with internal stakeholders, agency partners, suppliers
•Support of Strategic Partnership activities
Assist with booking venues, meetings, catering for tours and events held in WIMR including event logistics including bump in/outs, permit applications, volunteer recruitment
•Support the team to implement regular CRM updates, donor register updates, mailing lists updates
•Work with Communications and Marketing team in contributing to digital and social media, EDM campaigns for the Foundation initiatives
•Work with the Finance team to ensure documentation and input related to areas such as donations, expenses, invoices are up to date and correctly provided on a timely basis
•General office duties and support

About you!
•A positive, can-do attitude, and experience in engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders, good people skills with collaborative attitude
•Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
•Excellent computer skills including office, powerpoint, Canva and/or adobe skills
CRM system knowledge essential – Dynamic 365 preferable
•Experience organising and managing events such as dinners, lunches, afternoon teas, presentations and speakers
•Understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with Foundation matters
•Experience managing multiple tasks, in a fast-paced environment
•Highly organised with good time management skills
•Some reasonable afterhours may be required with events and meetings
