The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Graduate or 1st Year Lawyer to join our Estate, Wills and Succession Planning Department. The role is based at our head office in Campbelltown. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in this area of law and aspires to a long term career, with opportunities for progression, within our growingpractice. 

Skills and experience we would love

We expect that the successful applicant would:

• have experience in Estate Planning and Succession Law including obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration;
• be able to engage and communicate with clients;
• have a talent for problem solving and drafting legal documents;
• possess a high level of initiative and work-ethic;
• have experience managing files independently;
• have exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• have attention to detail and accuracy;
• have a can-do approach and willingness to grow in the role; and
• be able to manage competing priorities and work within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Work closely with a Partner or senior team member on all matters; 
• Drafting various legal documents; letters of advice and general correspondence; 
• Managing matter tasks and workflows; and 
• Engaging with clients;
