How will
you contribute to ensuring access to justice for all?
Our high
profile Employment & Industrial practice is recognised as a market
leader and has represented trade unions and individuals in landmark
cases. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1+ PAE level Lawyer to
join our Employment and Industrial Law team in our Melbourne Office on
a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to a well-respected
Principal you will have the opportunity to produce quality work for
our clients whilst maintaining a practical and commercial focus. You
will meet with potential clients and use your legal technical
knowledge and expertise to strive for fair outcomes.
Some of
your key Responsibilities:
- Promote and demonstrate the values
of courage, compassion, collaboration, fairness, and tenacity in your
daily work
- Proactively assist clients in progressing their
legal matters within guidelines and provide excellent service

Prepare legal documentation
- Build and maintain strong working
relationships with peers, colleagues, and referrer groups

Foster relationships with external organisations
- Ensure
adherence to legal procedures and guidelines
The experience we
are looking for:
- 1 + year post-admission experience
-
Experience in the Employment & Industrial law area is highly
regarded
- Experience with conducting litigation in Tribunals
and Courts
- Experience with conciliation conferences or
mediations
- Excellent oral and written communication
skills
