We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide Buildings team! This role offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and passion to facilitate the design, construction and commissioning of projects for electrical systems across a diverse range of projects including data centres, healthcare, education and defence.

Your role will include:
  1. Design, develop and oversee the design and installation of electrical systems including lead and oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, reports and engineering specifications
  2. Coach and mentor less senior members of the team
  3. Collaboratively engage with clients to listen, understand and provide solutions
  4. Apply and further grow your well-rounded skills and experience (balanced in both technical ability and consulting/managerial skills)
  5. Creative application of your problem-solving skills to continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles
  6. Enjoy collaborating with colleagues nationally and internationally, as we utilise our people across ANZ and beyond to solve our clients’ problems
  7. Ideally apply your experience across Data Centres and other markets to gain exposure to greater opportunities within Aurecon

We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power, lighting, communications and security design
  • Demonstrated engineering experience in data centres, health and defence projects will be highly regarded
  • Ability to build, maintain and manage strong client relationships
  • Experience managing and leading projects from concept design to completion
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and codes related to electrical design and installation associated with the electrical industry
