About the opportunity
As the Manufacturing
Solutions Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in
driving business expansion by targeting prominent players in the
industry. You will utilise your deep connections within the Australian
market to effectively identify, engage, and secure opportunities. You
may even have the potential to expand into international markets.
In this position, you will:
- Love the challenge to display your talents by achieving set sales targets within a few months.
- Consistently meet and grow monthly sales targets, thus impacting the company growth directly.
- Demonstrate a track record of a steady closing rate on generated leads.
- Cultivate and maintain a robust client portfolio, fostering enduring customer relationships.
To achieve these objectives, you will undertake duties such as maintaining a meticulous sales pipeline, conducting thorough market research, cold-calling, delivering compelling presentations, and collaborating closely with our client's manufacturing team to ensure customer needs are seamlessly translated into solutions.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role is
a results-driven sales professional with a demonstrated history of
swiftly and effectively securing business. Possessing a strong
technical acumen in CNC machining and laser cutting, you are
well-acquainted with the intricacies of the Australian market and
possess an extensive network within the industry.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Relevant sales experience, preferably in technical and manufacturing sectors.
- Experience in CNC machining and laser cutting, ideally within the engineering and mining sectors.
- An existing network of contacts within the industry, particularly among target companies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with 4-Axis CNC Mill and Lathe Machines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials commonly used in machining processes.
- The capacity to adapt to changing market dynamics and seize opportunities for expansion.
