About the role

As a Product Owner for Global Payments, focus ing on our API product stream , you will be the voice of the customer . Reporting to the Head of Product y ou will be responsible for ensuring that the products and associated features being created by the development teams align to customer and business requirements.

Working within the existing Agile framework of Large Scale Scrum ( LeSS ), you will promote and enable continuous improvement in high quality products and services while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the technical teams have all the knowledge and support required .

Other key areas of responsibility will include:

Manag ing the product backlog, defin e user stories and work with the development team and key stakeholders to build the best solutions to deliver customer aligned outcomes .

Breakdown problems and needs into Epics and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria;

Understanding the problem and needs of the customers and stakeholders, and communicating this to the development teams

Gather ing feature requests and coordinate work throughout sprints;

Work ing with the Product Management team to develop the product roadmap;

Work ing closely with P roduct M anagement and senior management in order to create a product that fits he company portfolio;

Understand ing and be up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics.

About you

You are an experienced Product Owner with a love for technology and a continuous learning mindset . Y ou have strong communication and collaboration s kills with the ability to bring people on the journey.

You thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment with the ability to steer your team’s deliverables against key initiatives . In addition to being both quality driven and customer focused,you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Proven experience working as a Product Owner and Business Analyst within an agile scrum environment ;

Technical knowledge of software, application and systems engineering;

Good conceptual appreciation of API approaches, use cases and technologies;

Strong organisational skills with a problem solving mindset ;

Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally;

A high level of written and verbal communication skills;

Knowledge of the payments and/or financial services industr y is a nice to have !
