Project Manager Centre of Excellence for Inclusion in Disability, Health and Community Support

We are seeking a visionary Project Manager to spearhead the development of The Gordon's Centre of Excellence (COE) for Disability Inclusion. This role represents a revolutionary leap forward in vocational education, positioning the Centre at the vanguard of a transformative journey aimed at reshaping how TAFEs engage with and support individuals with disabilities.

The overarching vision of the Centre is to catalyse a paradigm shift, challenging conventional perceptions of disability and fostering its integration as a celebrated facet of human diversity. Central to this vision is the empowerment of individuals with disabilities, championing an educational ethos that prioritises independence, choice, and a robust human rights framework.

The Centre is committed to amalgamating leading practices in disability education and support, elevating vocational training standards while actively reshaping societal attitudes towards disability. This holistic approach transcends conventional educational boundaries, establishing a new benchmark for inclusive engagement with people with disabilities.

In this role, you will cultivate a collaborative ecosystem by engaging the local community, industry leaders, and the broader TAFE network. These stakeholders will not merely contribute but will serve as essential partners, deeply invested in the Centre's success. Embracing the principle of co-design, you will ensure that the voices of individuals with lived experiences are integral in shaping the design of the facility, policies and services, driving meaningful societal change.

Operating within a complex, diverse, and dynamic environment, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future trajectory of the COE. This entails defining our educational direction, enhancing organizational performance, and ensuring financial sustainability. Your ability to think strategically, provide authoritative advice, and navigate relationships at organisational, network, state, and federal levels will be paramount in driving the Centre's impact and influence.

If you are a forward-thinking Project Manager, passionate about driving societal transformation and advancing disability inclusion in vocational education, we invite you to join us in this ground-breaking endeavour.
