Seeking an enthusiastic individual who will be reporting into the Head of Risk and Compliance. This newly created position will be providing support to the operation of risk and compliance functions.

In this role, you will be:
• Heavily involved in both internal and external audits, you will be working with audit functions to provide necessary information (document requests) as well as being a point of contact within the business to answer or source answers to the auditor. 
• Supporting Head of Risk and Compliance with effective management and maintenance of risk and governance framework. 
• Maintaining risk and performance metrics and associated reporting (e.g. complaints, GiCOP and sanctions).
• Assisting Head of Risk and Compliance with an annual review of all market facing documents, letter, and policies.
• Review, writing and maintenance of policy and procedures and assisting with their implementation. 
• Managing the risk and compliance systems including the inputs and reporting from these systems.
• Coordinating and preparing client reports.
• Overseeing vendor compliance and framework requirements.
• Completing specific projects and ad-hoc tasks that are assigned to this position.

A bit about you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• At least 3 - 5 years of legal or compliance experience in a commercial environment.
• Qualifications in law, business, commerce or equivalent are desirable. 
• May also have come from a risk management or contract administration background.
• Highly organised and outcome focused in all aspects and can prioritise quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work autonomously. 
• Builds productive relationships and communicates clearly and precisely and at all levels.
• Demonstrate a very high attention to detail with a strong focus on quality outputs, timeliness, and accountability.
• Experienced in high level client meetings. 
• Team player with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to maintain focus and operate effectively in a highly ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
• Intermediate level MS Office skills, in particular PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion.
