Job Description

A dynamic company in Melbourne are looking for a skilled Robotic Vision Engineer with expertise in Visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping), optical flow solutions, and control systems development. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms and software solutions to enable accurate localisation, optimal estimation, and precise control of autonomous robots and systems.

Requirements

• Experience building high-performance algorithms with CUDA/C/C++/Rust
• Solid experience in Visual SLAM algorithms and optical flow solutions for localisation and mapping
• Strong knowledge of Kalman filtering and other optimal estimation techniques
• Experience in building cascaded and multi-level control systems, such as autopilots or autonomous robots
• Familiarity with computer vision techniques, sensor fusion and machine learning for robotics applications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field. A PhD is a bonus.
• CI/CD knowledge
• Experience with PHP environments
• Strong communication skills

Please note the role is based in Melbourne and you will be required to work on a hybrid model. You also must have full working rights (PR/Australian Citizen) as the company is unable to sponsor.
