As Senior Systems Administrator in the
Recording and Application Services team, you will be responsible for
providing dedicated technical support of the ServiceNow platform to
Courts and Tribunals Queensland.
As part of the Support team,
the role of the Senior Systems Administrator will be to work closely
with the business area subject matters experts and development team to
provide operational support of the QTranscripts application as well as
support of forms and workflows in the separate corporate ServiceNow
instance. This involves working with managed service providers and
both internal and external clients.

QTranscripts is a Service Operations Platform built on ServiceNow which provides a customer ordering portal and backend workflow management for internal staff and external service providers to support the production and delivery of court transcripts.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support, maintenance and incident response for the ServiceNow platform including dealing with complicated system matters with thorough investigation and diagnosis of incidents and undertaking remedial action within agreed service level targets.
- Configure/install/monitor/support/manage the ServiceNow platform by applying sound technical expertise.
- Analyse, advise, recommend and plan maintenance upgrades or enhancements to the ServiceNow platform.
- Support daily data extract/transform/load (ETL) process and underlying technology services.
- Liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to troubleshooting and upgrade information, including other departmental support teams and key business owners.
- Undertake the development and maintenance of procedures and guidelines to ensure continuous improvement of recording and transcription technology operations.
- Provide and maintain timely, client focused problem and service management for Recording and Transcription Platform services in line with broader CTS service management standards.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends, industry and technology directions and product road maps for ServiceNow administration.
- Provide timely feedback to clients and management regarding the status of problems and service requests to ensure that agreed service levels and client service standards are achieved.
- Research problems and resolve issues to ensure reliability and availability of services.
