Devices—the team behind the best-selling Amazon Echo, Kindle E-Reader
and Fire TV—is seeking a high-performing, innovative,
results-oriented, customer-obsessed, analytical Senior Product Manager
for one our strategic product categories. You will be part of a team
that embraces calculated risk taking, moves fast to bring value to
customers and has fun together while doing so.
In this role, you
will be the primary sales lead for a category, responsible for growth
strategy, business planning, demand generation, sales and promotion.
This role is cross-functional and highly visible, working closely with
local and international stakeholders and earning trust at all levels
in building business cases and rapidly transitioning to successful
implementation.
The successful candidate will be a strong
communicator, great at meeting multiple deadlines through exceptional
business planning skills, able to coordinate with multiple
stakeholders, along with having experience in sales/marketing and
reporting business financials. Our environment is fast-paced and
requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable
working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management.
You
will operate both strategically and tactically; thinking big to drive
new opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs, diving deep into data to
uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence
within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon. You will need
to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment,
invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively. The
ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer technology, take
strong ownership of the business, and be comfortable executing and
giving feedback on new playbooks to maximize sales growth and
efficiency.

Product category analysis, Customer needs understanding, Financial
analysis, and Short/Mid-term business planning.
• Business
Execution: Working with team and stakeholders to influence global
team, deliver on planned business goals.
• Projects and
Initiatives: Organize business critical projects, lead / participate
as key member to drive important initiatives.
A day in the
life
To succeed, you’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves,
wear several hats, show hustle, and work collaboratively across
multiple teams. You will define the strategy, identify opportunities
for accelerating growth and define the plan to get there working with
marketing and product teams. You will build and prioritise the roadmap
and deliver strong results

- 5+ years of product or program management, product
marketing, business development or technology experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap
strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product
delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a
product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience
owning technology products
- Experience in influencing senior
leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across
functional teams and senior stakeholders
