In September 2018 Accent Group launched The Trybe online into the Australian marketplace after recognising that shopping for kids’ shoes is tough. Poor availability of brands, ranges and sizes, combined with inconsistent in-store service makes finding kids footwear for any parent a painful shopping experience.Through the opening of Trybe retail stores in 2019, the Accent Group set out to create a brand and experience that helps parents alleviate these pain points and actually provides them joy when shopping for their kids.The Trybe’s mission is to provide an opportunity for kids to define their style, own their choices + be themselves.

The Role:

We are looking for a business leader to join our retail store leadership team at The Trybe Fountain Gate.

As theAssistant Mangeryou will play a critical role delivering and executing the brand vision, establishing a high-performance culture within your store, operational excellence and ensuring that through customer experience we provide fun & joy to both parent and child when shopping with us.

Being a business leader at The Trybe you will work collaboratively with your Multi-Site Store Manager & National Manager to deliver a people first culture within your store, maximise sales growth in the business you run and all whilst accelerating your personal career growth in a leadership role.

The role & responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPI’s, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control and shrinkage
  • Motivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPI’s & added value targets across stores
  • Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets - acknowledge outstanding results and identify any areas of missed opportunity
  • Effectively manage the wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards
  • Coach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage their individual development by ensuring training and succession plans are in place
  • Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a full time / senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor or 3IC
  • A motivated & driven ‘Make it Happen’ attitude
  • A passion for leading & inspiring a team to succeed
  • A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPI’s and targets
  • Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising
