Competency Training (RTO#31299) industry leading training
brand owned by Verbrec with training facilities in Brisbane, Central
Queensland, Perth, and Adelaide. We also deliver and manage on-site
training for some of the largest companies and projects throughout the
world. We specialise in training and assessment for the Construction,
Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Electrical sectors.
About the role
This role will join the
Competency Training team, reporting directly to the Training Manager
at Belmont. You will be responsible for delivering and developing
quality training to clientele in accordance with all relevant company
policies and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.
Due to an increase in demand for our high-quality training, we currently seek suitably qualified and experienced and HRWL Trainers/Assessors who can deliver any of the following:
- High Risk Licenced Courses such as:
- Cranes
- Rigging
- Dogging
- Scaffolding
- Forklift and EWP
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Assessment - Delivering nationally recognised qualifications
- Contribute to development of programs and resource materials
- Participate in moderation and validation
- Provide ongoing support to leaners
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for training and working with learners, employers, and industry stakeholders. There is likely to be a mixture of classroom and workplace-based training and assessment, which will also vary, depending on the discipline. Learners may differ from more experienced workers in industry to young jobseekers and career starters.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Hold TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 (including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent; OR hold Diploma TAE;
- Currency & experience in the sector to be delivered;
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
- Experience in supporting learners with LLN challenges;
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision;
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
