Wine Bar Cook or Chef | Bar Messenger

THE OPPORTUNITY

Mulpha Hospitality are currently recruiting for the hospitality team for Sydney’s newest wine bar, Bar Messenger .

Minutes from the Opera house and Botanic Garden and tucked away in the heritage listed Transport House, Bar Messenger provides a top tier wine list from some of Australia’s best wineries and wine regions, and a small, curated food menu.

We are seeking a Chef or Cook on a casual basis   with previous experience working cafes, restaurant, wine bars, or similar establishment . The role will work predominantly preparing simple and tasty bar menu dishes, along with assisting the bar when necessary.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• A great outgoing personality and attitude.
• 1-2 years of cooking experience in small wine bars or cafés.
• A desire to learn new skills and loves new challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-presented and takes pride in their work.
• Flexibility to work around the Bar’s opening hours – Wednesday to Saturday evenings.
