e-commerce business. Students will gain experience working in our retail teams where we help Vendors optimize their business and drive growth on Amazon.com.au. Key job responsibilities
As a Brand Specialist Intern you'll;
- Work alongside our Brand Specialists to learn what they do, and gain exposure to the breadth that Amazon has to offer. This includes learning about our major functional areas, Vendor Management (ownership of a P&L), In-stock management (supply chain), and content management (marketing).
- Own and deliver a project which is impactful to an entire category or department. You will have full ownership of your deliverable, which will have tangible results to the Australia Business.
- Work across categories such as Books, Fashion, Electronics, Toys, Video Games, Health & Beauty, and everything in between, learning how Amazon manages and grows its e-commerce retail business, and develop the analytical and problem-solving skills that our people are known for.
A day in the life
Your time will be split across three key areas:
1: Delivering an impactful project: You will be responsible for delivering a strategically important project for Australia. You will be supported to deliver this with a Mentor, Buddy and Manager. Example projects completed by previous interns are:
- Revamping the end-to-end process for New Releases in Media;
- Establishing an AU wide resource repository for deal events such as Prime Day and Black Friday;
- Analyzing large data sets to assess performance of Amazon initiatives;
- Deep diving the product creation process to create a new way of working;
- Creating pitch materials to enable senior leaders to successfully pitch the AVS service.
2: Experiencing the Brand Specialist role: This could include creating Joint Business Plans with Vendors, identifying and exciting strategies to drive new selection, marketing management, price promotions, operational efficiencies and reporting analysis. Basic Qualifications
- Current penultimate year student pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree (Graduating after Feb 2027)
- A natural appetite for learning and the ability to pick up new skills quickly
- Strong analytical, relationship management and organizational skills
- A focus on identifying problems and creating solutions!
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability building positive working relationships.
- Drive to deliver results in an ambiguous environment, detail orientated while looking around corners and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling customer offer

# Project Overview:
The Project includes the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of 3 new bucket-wheel reclaimers including associated structural, mechanical, electrical and communications services. The Project also includes the design and construction of associated off-board scope including bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, structural works and electrical upgrades to support the functionally safe operation of the new reclaimers.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will manage a project's supply chain operations and its assigned Supply Chain personnel to establish and implement the procurement and subcontract planning, acquisition, order administration, and delivery of goods and/or services. Your team will execute the project Supply Chain plan, ensuring the monitoring of safety, quality, cost, and performance and that all contractual duties and obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Participates with the project team on a small to medium sized project in defining and developing the scope of work, and in preparing and coordinating Supply Chain plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for purchase of goods or services
+ Ensures the monitoring of safety, quality, cost, and performance and that all contractual duties and obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Broad experience in the formation, negotiation, award and administration of complex design and construct or construction contracts
+ Experience in developing complex contract types, remunerations models, incentive regimes, terms and conditions
+ Working knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, effective correspondence and claims and dispute resolution
+ Skilled in working and communicating effectively with all levels of project functional groups
+ Experience, skill or training in supervising personnel, workload distribution and execution of work
+ Comprehensive knowledge of (sub)contract management
