AECOM has been appointed by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) as the Delivery Partner for the $7.1bn Games Venues Infrastructure Program.

As part of the Facilities Management team, you will undertake daily operational duties as prescribed by the Building and Grounds Supervisor.
Deliver the safe, effective and efficient delivery of facilities and grounds maintenance.
**Key responsibilities**
+ Delivery of planned preventative and corrective maintenance
+ Perform repairs and improvements to facilities and equipment
+ Propagate, plant, and undertake revegetation across diverse landscapes.
+ Perform general grounds tasks including debris and rubbish removal, cleaning of outdoor features and hardstand areas.
+ Hedge & tree trimming
+ Mowing, edging & whipper snipping
+ Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides.
+ Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working condition.
+ Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling protocols.
+ Support other technicians and team members as required.
**Qualifications and experience**
+ Trade background is advantageous
+ Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous.
+ Current Manual Driver's License
+ Police clearance
+ Strong communication and customer service skills
+ High attention to detail and ability to work independently
+ Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
+ Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower
+ Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying.
+ Physically fit and comfortable working in varied environments (roofs, subfloors, outdoors)
+ Initiative & the ability to work with limited supervision.
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security clearance as needed.
