**Summary:**
Bentley Systems is seeking an Application Engineer - Transportation to support strategic infrastructure accounts across East Coast Australia. This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.
As An Application Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between Bentley's products and user needs by providing technical expertise and collaborating with accounts to understand the requirements and offer valuable solutions.
The AE engages in product demonstrations and contribute valuable technical insights and collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure that the proposed products and solutions address user needs and contribute to the successful acquisition of new business through technical closure.
By developing a unique relationship and understanding of both the Bentley civil transportation products and solutions as well as the user needs, the Application Engineer plays a key role in our ability to use that knowledge in Account Advancement, User Advancement, and Product Advancement.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Interact with prospects to understand their specific need and requirements.
+ Engage directly with prospects to conduct discovery sessions and define requirements.
+ Create and deliver effective presentations and demonstrations illustrating the capabilities, workflows, and value of Bentley applications to users and prospects.
+ Develop and prepare datasets for user presentations and demonstrations.
+ Develop content (i.e., videos) that can be delivered in one-to-one or one-to-many modes, contributing to a standardized repository of reusable content.
+ Deliver presentations and provide support for corporate sales and marketing events.
+ Contribute to written proposal development and submission.
+ Prepare and recommend scope of services for Enterprise Success to implement.
+ Prepare and deliver relevant feedback to Product Teams to improve our products (from product issues to user needs).
+ Serve as the technical liaison between Account Advancement and Enterprise Success teams.
+ Work with Product teams to stay up to date with current releases of Bentley applications.
+ Understand Infrastructure design standards as well as methodologies and make recommendations for conformant product configurations.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
**Qualification:**
+ Strong functional knowledge using relevant Bentley transportation design software such as OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, OpenRail Overhead Line Designer, Bentley Rail Track (InRail), MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, GEOPAK, and/or InRoads. (Power User Level) Experience with other related industry civil engineering applications such as Civil3D, MX, Trimble is beneficial.
+ Outstanding speaking, presentation, and demonstration skills.
+ Ability to explain complex topics to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority.
+ Independent judgment, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
+ Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new complex products.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Effectively collaborate with teams leveraging communication and project management to define objectives and deliver focus.

**Senior Site Reliability Engineer**
**Location :** Office-Based Australia/ Home-Based Australia / Hybrid Australia
**Positon Summary:**

We are looking for a **Senior Site Reliability Engineer** to take on the responsibility of automating cloud-based services infrastructure and tooling, with a specific focus on DevOps automation principles. This role encompasses the architecture, development, service provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring of infrastructure and tooling automation. Additionally, the position may require occasional after-hours work to promptly address urgent issues and uphold uninterrupted business operations for our users.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage, implement, and improve automation (CI/CD Infrastructure) and tooling through Azure DevOps, scripting, developing tools and proprietary systems.
+ Automate Azure cloud-based deployments, resource provisioning and other Azure infrastructure related tasks.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
+ Dive deep into availability, performance and outages for infrastructure and systems, and provide technical leadership for proactive resolutions.
+ Ensure compliance with industry's best practices and organizational policies.
+ Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
+ Maintain monitoring and alerting and participate as a member of a rotating on-call schedule.
+ Share on-call responsibilities, including collaborating with other engineers to triage and fix issues that come up in production for our users.
**Qualifications:**
+ Degree in computer science, software engineeringor relevant training and/or experience.
+ +8 years of experience with Cloud Services development, deployment and/or IT Cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance (Azure Cloud or AWS or GCP).
+ Expertise in contanerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
+ Experience with Scripting and automation skills using languages like PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, JavaScript or similar.
+ Programming experience, preferably in a high-level language like C#, Python, Golang, Ruby, or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of AD and DNS, IIS, and networking.
+ Experience with FedRamp background screening.
+ Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML) or GitHub enterprise (Git, Actions).
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL setup, SQL statements/scripts and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to document architectural designs along with operational processes and procedures to support ongoing administration of cloud systems.
+ Willingness to learn and become an expert at a wide array of Cloud based technologies in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work effectively in a global team and cross-organization.
**It would be awesome if you have:**
+ Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure deployment into Azure is a plus.
+ Expertise in defining operations in code, utilizing version control, peer review, and CI/CD for seamless deployment of changes to both applications and infrastructure.
