**About the Role**
This is a unique opportunity to oversee the iconic pools and pond facilities on the island. As part of the Engineering team, you will support our technicians and own the upkeep and maintenance of the resort pools and fountains, ensuring they are functioning like clockwork. With naturally high standards to support our own, you'll approach every task with devotion and pride.
In addition to maintenance tasks, be an approachable and helpful and supportive leader to the team, offering support to both guests and colleagues. Identify and implement preventative maintenance measures to enhance overall efficiency and minimize downtime. By proactively addressing potential issues, contribute to the smooth operation of the resort's water features and ensure a consistently high standard of service for all.
**What we need from you**
+ We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards and delivering seamless guest experiences. You'll need to relocate and live on Hayman Island, Queensland, and bring a hands-on approach to your work.
+ A valid Queensland driver's license is essential, along with a Queensland safety induction White Card.
+ Previous experience with pool maintenance and equipment, including pumps and testing tools, essential, and you should be physically fit to handle the demands of the role.
+ Be the holder of or be willing to obtain a valid "Pool Operators Plantroom Certificate"
+ Have experience in the operation of commercial plantroom filtration and dosing equipment
+ Have experience in the use of Spin Touch, Palin and or Lovibond pool water testing equipment
+ Have reasonable computer skills for entering data into a dedicated database
+ Be flexible on work hours and days as this role could include weekends
+ Cert III in Swimming Pool and Spa Service (essential) - cert IV highly regarded.
+ Complete understanding of A/S and regulations pertaining to the safe, commercial use of pools and application and supervision of standards.

We are partnering with a highly regarded specialist private practice in North Adelaide that focuses exclusively on the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of scoliosis and kyphosis. This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate multidisciplinary team and receive comprehensive training in a specialised and growing area of healthcare.



The Opportunity

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will deliver tailored rehabilitation programs and functional assessments for patients with scoliosis and spinal conditions. You will work closely with patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them achieve meaningful outcomes through evidence-based exercise interventions and ongoing support.

This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours per week) working across clinic hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm.



What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting one-on-one patient consultations and assessments

  • Delivering scoliosis-specific rehabilitation programs

  • Developing personalised exercise and home management plans

  • Monitoring patient progress through ongoing reviews

  • Providing education and support to patients and families

  • Building strong patient relationships to encourage long-term engagement and positive outcomes

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive specialist team



About the Caseload

  • Predominantly adolescent patients, with some adult and older adult clients

  • Specialised focus on scoliosis and kyphosis management

  • One-on-one appointments (typically 45-50 minutes)

  • Strong emphasis on patient-centred care and continuity of treatment
