We're looking for a highly skilled Editor to join our dynamic children's editorial team to support our ambitious growth plans. As the Publications Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation that supports the successful implementation and ongoing operation of the system upgrades. Working within our integrated project team, you'll create clear, accurate, and compliant documentation that bridges the gap between complex technical systems and their end users.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Support the development and maintenance of technical publications and ILS documentation supporting the implementation of system upgrades across multiple RAAF sites
+ Create and update training materials, operational procedures, and maintenance workflows for system operators and maintainers
+ Collaborate with technical teams to document system modifications, integration approaches, and operational procedures
+ Support security certification and accreditation processes through precise documentation
+ Maintain configuration management documentation and coordinate with stakeholders to validate technical content
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications** :
+ University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technical Writing
+ Demonstrated experience in technical documentation for complex systems integration projects
+ Strong understanding of ILS principles and documentation requirements
+ Experience working within structured documentation frameworks and configuration management systems
+ Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation
**Desirable attributes:**
+ Experience in defence technology or aerospace industries
+ Familiarity with air traffic control systems or voice communication technologies
+ Experience with COTS integration documentation
+ Knowledge of Commonwealth documentation standards and security requirements

**Job Overview:**
The Internal Translator is responsible for linguistically and culturally interpreting written material in a way that maintains or duplicates the structure and style of the original text, while keeping the ideas and facts of the original material accurate.
You will be fluent in two or more languages and skills that allows you to research industry-specific terminology, whilst possessing a strong commitment to quality and accuracy and show outstanding problem-solving skills when faced with difficult content and instruction.
You will also build strong relationships with the IQVIA Translations Services team and will play a key role in the effectiveness and success of IQVIA Translations Services operations, by working with them to update or improve glossaries, Translation Memories, Style Guides, and any other internal asset, and identify gaps in instructions or any external issue that may affect the commitment to the client.
Coupled with being a strategic partner in delivering translations on time and adhering to our quality commitments to clients, you will also proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
**Requirements:**
+ Native speaker in Korean
+ Fluency in source language(s)
+ At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
+ A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
+ Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
**Interview Process:** If you are selected for the role, you will be required to complete a short video assessment that is mandatory for all applicants, it will not take you more than 20 minutes to complete. Shortlisted talents will then have to complete a Translation Test as well which will be assessed by our team thereafter on proficiency and accuracy.
