**A little taste of your day to day**
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Assisting in the establishment and commissioning of the new hotel.
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, back-of-house facilities, and exterior spaces.
+ Diagnose and resolve minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical issues promptly and effectively.

Toro Australia is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Equipment team in Brisbane, QLD.
Reporting to the Service Manager, Equipment, this role will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region in support of a wider national network.
What Will You Do?
+ Effectively managing field service priorities and schedules.
+ Ensuring our service fleet vehicle's safety, cleanliness, and proper resourcing.
+ Coordinating and performing various mechanical tasks in repairing, maintaining, and servicing turf maintenance-related equipment.
+ Establishing and maintaining relevant service-related information.
+ Providing product service training to clients as required.
+ Build and maintain a customer base to promote the ongoing financial growth of the Service Centre.
+ Participating in regular internal product-based training to meet and exceed OEM service standards.
What Do You Need?
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
+ Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines
+ Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers
+ A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License

Toro has an exciting opportunity for a New Equipment Technician to join our Equipment team, based in Banyo, Queensland. This role will be responsible for carrying out new equipment builds on a nominated range of products ensuring the equipment conforms with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
What will you do?
+ Perform varied mechanical tasks involved in the setup, maintenance, and servicing of turf-related equipment.
+ Follow company setup guidelines to complete new equipment installations.
+ Install pre-built accessories and carry out minor repairs as required.
+ Conduct quality control checks and test equipment using diagnostic tools.
+ Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including managing work bays and waste.
+ Establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal teams and customers.
+ Ensure all activities comply with WHSE responsibilities, policies, and procedures.
What do you need?
+ Experience in maintaining and repairing turf, recycling, or construction equipment (e.g., tractors, mowers, golf course machinery).
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
+ Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical faults.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ A polite and professional phone manner.
