Amazon is hiring Maintenance Technicians to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at our new Delivery Station in Chullora, Sydney.
This is a full-time night shift role. Please note that the current shift pattern includes 10-hour shifts x 4 days and one day working during the weekend.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
- Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
- Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
- Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
A day in the life
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely. As an RME Technician, you'll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.
Working alongside senior colleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks general building maintenance.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network.
Basic Qualifications
- Formal Trade Qualification: Served a full apprenticeship in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualified to a minimum of Certificate 3. Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license OR Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia.
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical
- and mechanical drawings.
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
- Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.

- Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs, building compliance programs, including facility and contractor management.

Simplot Bathurst employs over 250 people and having been a part of the local community since 1926, continues to produce Edgell products, as well as products for Birds Eye and Chiko. **What You Will Do**
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead, the Maintenance Fitter will perform planned & scheduled mechanical maintenance + breakdown activities on a wide range of fixed plant and equipment in alignment with the site's Maintenance & Production schedules that support optimisation of plant reliability, improvements related to employee safety, and site continuous improvement (CI) activities.
Working closely with the Production & wider Engineering / Maintenance (incl. Electrical / Planning / Stores etc) teams - this hands on, technical role will provide mechanical expertise to Simplot Bathurst's operations by;
+ Identifying faults and performing breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and micro-stops caused by production machinery and equipment
+ Inspecting, testing and maintaining machinery & equipment - food preparation, cutting & sorting equipment, high speed packaging equipment, pumping systems, conveyors etc.

Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of **KC30-A** Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft-a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset, and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.
**Your Role:**
As our Field Services Representative, you will provide timely, expert maintenance and troubleshooting advice on KC-30A airframe, engine, avionics and AAR Systems. You will also be responsible for:
+ Provide technical advice during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting
+ Provide Deep Maintenance Support as the Field Service Representative
+ Provide technical and engineering guidance to the Commonweath withina short time frame
+ Be available to deploy at short notice both nationally and internationally for short and long-term deployments
**About you**
As an experienced Field Services Representative, you will understand:

+ A330 or KC-30A Maintenance or Flight Line experience
+ Current CASA or DASA License

**Technical Knowledge and Expertise:**
+ Develop a subject matter expert level of understanding of physical access control service and system design, interactions between technology layers and components, functions of infrastructure, and dependencies at scale.
+ Contribute to the identification and recommendation of optimal configurations of technology components, adjust configurations, and define infrastructures to improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and/or performance of supported services.
+ Create new SOP and standards for both business need and system health while maintaining a security first approach and drive projects with less senior team members.
**Operational Excellence:**
+ Assist in the implementation of reliable, scalable, high-performance solutions to support highly critical physical security systems. Contribute to the design and implementation of those systems and maintain quality control documentation in partnership with fellow engineers.
+ Respond to incidents during regular on-call rotations, alert stakeholders to major impacting issues, escalate resolution of complex or multi-component problems to fellow engineers, and ensure details related to incident resolution are shared
+ Develop an understanding of security, privacy, documentation, trainings, SOP, policy, and compliance standards in alignment with direction from the business and technical experts. Partner with security, privacy, and compliance teams to identify, address, and develop guidance on issues relevant to their services, ensuring information is shared and dependencies managed across disciplines promptly.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 5+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Background Check Requirements:**
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 3+ year(s) technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
+ OR 3+ year(s) technical experience with an enterprise level physical access control system (Ex. LenelS2, Software House, etc.).
+ Management Information Systems (MIS), or other industry or product specific Engineering Certifications.
+ Experience and understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in an enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premises workload to the cloud, hybrid environments, multi-tenant environments)
