**Responsibilities**
**B1 LAME Aircraft Maintenance Engineer**
Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) is a world leading supplier of in-flight entertainment, communication system and aircraft maintenance company with Australia's head office located in Alexandria, NSW with offices in NSW, VIC, NT, SA, QLD and WA.
Currently we have multiple opportunities for Maintenance Services Technician/Maintenance Services Representatives to be based in our office at airports in Sydney/Melbourne/ Adelaide/Cairns/Perth/Darwin.
**Duties and responsibilities:**
**_Aircraft/IFE Maintenance and Support_**
+ Identifying, dismantling, inspecting, testing and repairing aircraft parts, aircraft engines and motors, aircraft electrical systems, aircraft frames and equipment to restore functional acceptance,
+ Inspecting and installing electrical circuits which may require the removal and replacement/installation of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling
+ Performing troubleshooting and defect rectification, built-in test (BIT) and manual test on aircraft systems by using the electronic testing equipment or other specialised testing apparatus
+ Rectifying defects, such as defects in the aircraft oxygen system components, in an aircraft to meet approved maintenance requirements
+ Attending to issues, such as issues in assembling parts in aircraft frame, which can affect airworthy and safe operation of an aircraft
+ Performing routine pre-flight line maintenance checks and inspections of engines, frames and mechanical systems for airline clients.
**_Maintains records/ Documentation_**
+ Maintaining records/ Documentation for all the inspections, repairments, replacements, modifications, overhauls, and maintenance performed by using computer and bar-coding equipment.
+ Ensuring the maintenance release contains a certification which documented the details of the work carried out including the identity of organisation and signatory supervise
**_Other Duties and Responsibilities_**
+ Responding to defects found during inspections and those recorded by flight crew in aircraft technical log.
+ Reading engineering drawings and ensure all repairs are in accordance with manufacturer's instructions for the Type Certificate
+ Testing and operating airline communications equipment.
+ Assisting in tracking the spares inventory.
+ Preparing parts which have been received
+ Performing other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
**The applicant must have:**
+ Holds AQF Certificate IV in aeroskills or trade certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
+ For MSR role, minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance as a licencesed aircraft maintenance engineer
+ Appropriate academic/technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing, CASA/EASA/ FAA A&P
+ Ability to obtain a red ASIC
+ Ability to pass extensive security and background checks.
**License requirements**
+ To be eligible for the MSR role, you must possess, or qualify to possess, an Unrestricted CASA Licence Cat B1 with B737, A320, A330, B777, B787, A380, B747-400, or A350 Type Ratings.
+ FAA A&P with B747/B777 certifying experience will also be considered.
**Other requirements :**
+ Willing to travel both internationally and domestically, up to 25 % of time
+ Hold a valid driver's license
+ Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
+ Manual dexterity to grasp and work with tool parts and equipment.
+ Ability to cope with environmental conditions which may include exposure to congestion, varying noise levels and extreme weather

**Your Opportunity**
The B2 Technician will be responsible for carrying out on and off aircraft maintenance safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection and maintenance co-ordination for the PTS East Sale Defence operations.

+ Carry out flight line activities including flight servicing's, replenishments and marshalling

_Full-time or Part-time Opportunity_
At Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, we're passionate about creating great guest experiences and supporting our team with a safe, well-maintained environment. We're on the lookout for a dedicated **Handyperson** to join our friendly Engineering team.
Your Day-to-Day:
+ Perform preventive and general maintenance across guest rooms, bathrooms, public spaces, and outdoor areas.
+ Complete painting and surface repairs when required.
+ Test and repair room items such as TVs, phones, remote controls, irons, and hair dryers.
+ Maintain air-conditioning filters, lighting, wardrobes, beds, lamps, and guest door locking systems.
+ Ensure all guest requests are completed promptly and accurately, updating maintenance logs.
+ Support upkeep of plant rooms, workshops, and inventory levels.
+ Assist the team with ad-hoc duties to ensure our hotel runs smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
+ Experience in general building repairs and maintenance (trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or painting highly regarded).
+ Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and in a small team.
+ Great communication and presentation, with a guest-focused approach.
+ Understanding of safe work practices and WH&S standards.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
The primary role of this position is to provide repair and preventative maintenance services for all Hach Process and Laboratory Analytical equipment while promoting customer satisfaction and maintenance contract growth across the region.
**What You'll Be Doing** _(Job Responsibilities)_
+ Use established ISO work instructions to provide repair and preventative maintenance services for all Hach equipment.
+ Work cooperatively with Service team and field sales staff to promote customer satisfaction.
+ Provide service phone support for customers while in their office and while traveling as required.
+ Be highly motivated and able to work without supervision.
+ Actively promote contractual service agreements and upgrade purchases of new equipment.
+ Determine the amount to bill customer within a framework of charges.
+ Submit prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
+ Extensive travel will be incurred within New South Wales and Inter-State for this role.
**Other Non-Essential Functions:**
+ Works with rest of territorial staff as a team to meet objectives.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**What We Are Looking For** **_(Skills & Qualifications)_**
+ Trade certificate or 5+ years' experience in Instrumentation or process control systems required
+ Restricted Electrical or Full Electrical License preferred
+ Mastery of PM, diagnostics & repair on core products as required.
+ Mastery of PM, diagnostics & repair on other products to fulfill customer requirements within the territory.
+ Experience in a commercial Service role with metric and monitored KPI performance preferred.
+ Candidate must have the right to live and work in Australia.
**Environment:**
+ The work environment for this position is both office and field service activity.
+ The field service activity will take this individual into customer's locations and moderate physical activity (e.g. lifting/carrying of materials) occurs.
