**Your role**
Regional technical support is required for Collins Aerospace Landing Systems wheel and brake customers in Australia, this is a remote job opportunity. This position is to provide continued support to Landing Systems wheel and brake airline customers and MROs in the region. The key objectives are to maintain the highest standards of customer support for future technical sales, campaigns, competitions, retrofit and technical support. Candidate must possess technical competencies, strong communication skills and be able to forge long standing relationships.
**Key responsibilities** :
+ Provide technical support and problem solving for aircraft wheels and brakes, brake control systems and wheel and brake repair and overhaul activities
+ Perform initial investigations (data gathering) of airline wheel and brake problem reports; assist with technical problem analysis (root cause identification and implementation of corrective actions)
+ Conduct maintenance training for airline and maintenance shop personnel
+ Provide front line support to Customer Support Engineering (CSE)
+ Gather and report component reliability data
+ Provide warranty support by investigating and adjudicating claims and issuing scrap certificates
+ Conduct consignment stock audits at customer sites as required
+ Support airline Regional Business Managers and the Airline Sales team
+ Organize and support UTAS senior management customer visits to the regions
+ Serve as local expert for B787 electro-mechanical brake system (EMBS) test equipment
+ Support landing gear Field Service with maintenance structural interventions as required
+ Provide engineering support to Landing Systems service centers
+ Provide temporary onsite support to Landing Systems Field Service worldwide as required
**Essential skills, attributes and experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree: Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent academic and experience
+ Minimum four (4) years' experience with design and/or maintenance of aircraft, aircraft systems or aircraft appliances or equivalent professional experience
+ Aircraft wheels and brake and landing gear experience considered an asset Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years' experience
+ Fluency in English
+ Previous exposure to airline maintenance activities
+ Technically familiar with aircraft wheels and brakes and landing gear

The primary role of a _Field Service Technician_ is to provide repair and preventative maintenance services for all Hach Process and Laboratory Analytical equipment while promoting customer satisfaction and maintenance contract growth across the region.

**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Use established ISO work instructions to provide repair and preventative maintenance services for all Hach equipment.

+ Actively promote contractual service agreements and upgrade purchases of new equipment.

+ Extensive travel will be incurred within Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
- Trade certificate or 5+ years' experience in Instrumentation or process control systems required.
- Restricted Electrical or Full Electrical License preferred.
- Mastery of PM, diagnostics & repair on other products to fulfil customer requirements within the territory.
- Experience in a commercial Service role with metrics and monitored KPI performance preferred.

**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Install equipment in a high quality, professional manner with strong attention to detail in accordance with the company standards, compliance standards and customer requirements.

+ Liaise with Call Centre and technical staff to maintain, service and repair equipment per requirement and quality control standards.
+ Undertake training and provide training and technical support for customer staff and sub-contractors where required.
+ Perform tests on units using required tools and meters and prepare detailed reports on tests carried out such as load test, battery test, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), etc.
+ Ensure that all service reports are submitted within 24 hours of job completion.
+ Liaise with Project Management and/or Sales team to carry out site inspection, commissioning and testing of Project jobs. This will involve the creating, modifying of all documentation and reports for submission.
+ Be aware of the company's and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations as well as the company's documented Quality Management system.
**Qualifications:**
+ Grade Electrician
+ 5 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipment
+ Intermediate skills in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
+ Exceptional communication skills
+ Ability to organize, prioritize, plan, follow up and work autonomously

Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise, service and maintenance for the Abbott capital equipment portfolio.
This role is a part time role (3 days/week) and is based in Brisbane.
**Core Job**
+ Planning and installation of Abbott capital equipment.
+ Supporting trials of capital equipment products.
+ Build Abbott relationship with key lab equipment vendors.
+ Perform service, maintenance and upgrades of capital equipment products.
+ Maintenance of detailed databases on the location, system serial numbers, calibration and preventative maintenance scheduling of all Abbott capital equipment.
+ Develop relationships with and service key customer groups.
+ Provide technical support for internal and external customers on capital products.
+ Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the industry (MTAA) the Abbott Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements.
+ Action any other customer complaints with relevant Abbott ANZ Business Unit.
+ Execute the position and Business Unit responsibilities according to applicable Abbott ANZ Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Perform other related functions and responsibilities as directed by Manager.
+ You may be required to work outside of your ordinary hours of work to participate in essential training, team meetings, customer events or trade shows/conferences. These events may take place on an evening and/or weekend.
**Essential**
+ Tertiary qualifications in Medical (eg. Bachelor of Science) or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) or Business area experience is essential.
+ Good Technical / Clinical / Scientific knowledge
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suites i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint
+ Ability to make decision and provide feedback under pressure.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for Leica Microsystems Pty Ltd.
This position reports to the Service Manager and is part of the Service team based in Sydney and will be working remotely to cover other regions in Australia as needed.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Providing level 1 & level 2 customer support for service requests and emergency field servicing for products like surgical, UM, wide field and stereo microscope for customers and sales team.
+ Assisting with installations and commissioning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for products like confocal, wide field and stereo microscope with detailed records of all service activities.
+ Collaborate with other service engineers, the sales team, and technical support to ensure seamless service delivery.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Education: Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualifications in electronics, engineering or similar discipline is mandatory.
+ Experience: Previous experience as a field service engineer, technician, or similar role is highly regarded, experience working with microscopes and imaging systems is a significant advantage.
+ Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues and repair complex electromechanical systems. Also requires strong knowledge of computer hardware & software, with the ability to diagnose and resolve software-related issues.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel - within NSW and occasionally interstate within Australia.
+ Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10-15kgs, and work equipment installed on floor level.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Medical devices troubleshooting
+ Biomedical experience
