**The Team:**
The Australian Equities Research Team focuses on producing high quality and insightful research on listed companies and industry sectors in the Australian region, as well as on global thematic trends impacting sectors under coverage. The team looks to build long-term relationships with, and provide research and analysis to, regional and global institutional investment firms, listed and unlisted companies and key industry players.
**The Role:**
An opportunity exists for a highly talented professional to become a member of our Australian Natural Resources Equity Research team with lead coverage in Precious Metals and other Metals & Mining stocks.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate and work in deep partnership with our globally ranked, leading regional and global natural resources research teams bases in HK, London, and NYC.
The role will be responsible for the production strategic equity research and compelling tactical investment ideas to our highly sophisticated global and local client base. **Key Responsibilities:**

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
As an SCM - EAM Architect, you will have an excellent understanding of the overall SAP Business Suite across S/4HANA, SSAM, APM, FSM, etc. and how they integrate and should be used in your industry context.
From an SCM CoE perspective you will be helping the customer to holistically understand their path from the "old" SCM world into the more advanced Business Suite world including AI, mobility, automated scheduling and networks. You will work alongside the account teams in the software evaluation process, to develop SAP-centric solution scenarios and needed architecture, prepare implementation plans and define outcomes that lead to overall customer success. You will build actionable roadmaps, support the creation of business cases, PoC, give architecture advise and deliver implementation support where needed. You will act as the conduit between customer and product management / engineering to prioritise product roadmaps with customer needs, run/support industry specific round tables and events for SCM and particularly Asset Management.
Under the overall DSC Practice mandate you will be involved in engagements to advise on, design, implement, deploy our solutions with the aim to enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. You will partner with the client and possible with 3rd parties to analyse and define business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables for the same but having the overall architecture in mind.
In addition you will need to be able to work individually and as part of a high-performance team locally and globally, having SAP's and customer's success at heart. Your vast experience and your in-depth knowledge within the industry will make you the go-to person to provide though leadership advice to our colleagues/partners on end-to-end solution design, implementation challenges or deployment options.
**Qualifications, Skills and Competencies**
+ A proven 15 years professional experience working in the mining and/or oil & gas industry as a principal consultant / architect.

The Ranger rehabilitation project is about converting a former Uranium mine, after 35 years of operations, to a thriving native bushland that can be incorporated into the surrounding Kakadu National Park. ERA has engaged the global engineering firm, Bechtel, to support them as a Delivery Partner for ongoing study and execution works. Bechtel will be working alongside ERA and major stakeholder Rio Tinto to restore the land to the status of its surrounding World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. A collaborative project, it will be developed in consultation with the Mirarr Traditional Owners and will benefit the Jabiru NT community.

In this role, you will lead the Bulk Material Movement (BMM) work package on Ranger Rehab Study. This is an exciting opportunity to optimize the closure phase of one of Australia's most important mine sites, developing and implementing an innovative waste stockpile grade characterization methodology to optimize material movement plans. Working Monday to Friday, located primarily from the Brisbane project office the role reports to the Technical Studies Manager.

# Major Responsibilities:
Drive the development and implementation of the Bulk Material movement (BMM) plan to construct the Final Landform across the disturbed mine site to rehabilitate the pits, ponds, stockpiles and other facilities. The study will include an innovative stockpile modelling methodology in collaboration with specialist consultants and site based mine planners, leveraging technical skills in multiple software environments. Key accountabilities for this role will include:
+ Leading a team of highly skilled site-based employees.
+ Maintaining key site performance metrics including MineStar technology availability, production metrics, operating cost per tonne, MineStar fleet productivity and safety.
+ Partnering with the MineStar for Underground Product Support team to report any suspected product defects, collect MineStar troubleshooting data, and define interim corrective actions.
+ Developing the correct new products and services to meet the customer current and future needs at a job site.
+ Developing, prioritizing, and implementing strategies to address customer needs as well as ensuring dealer servicing and support practices align with recovery strategy.
+ Advising on strategic direction for proper equipment selection, product problem management, and equipment management activities.
