**About the Role**
We're seeking a **Quality Assurance Manager** to lead quality excellence across our Huntingwood or Bundaberg site. Key job responsibilities

- Installation of new rack capacity and provisioning of power/cooling
- On-site management of contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed, is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation.

**Quality Assurance Technician (12 Month Fixed-term contract)**
**About the role**
As a member of the Governance Team your role will be to support the implementation and monitoring of food safety, quality, and hygiene programs across the production site. This role ensures that all products are manufactured in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and customer expectations, while promoting a strong culture of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications:**
+ Science degree in Analytical Chemistry or Related Discipline, or Food Technology, ideal but not required
+ Quality Control experience preferred in a manufacturing environment, with process control or food/beverage analysis experience
+ Previous experience with analytical test equipment is preferred, i.e. DMA, Acidity Testers, Brix, pH/Conductivity
+ Previous experience with packaging material quality control
+ Root Cause Problem Solving skills
+ Team and customer orientated
+ Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
+ PC skills and in experience with using SAP

+ Conduct relevant routine process control and analytical testing of in-process materials and finished products to ensure compliance to company specifications and record and report as required
+ Accurately perform test methods as documented, use, maintain and perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment
+ Identify and isolate non-conforming materials or products and follow through to ensure corrective and preventative action is taken

+ On the event fault finding and corrective actions
+ Input to 5Why problem solving on real time basis, working with all key areas of the work team (quality/trades/production)
+ Work with Operators and team leaders to play a proactive role in situational problem solving on shift. Fixing problems and finding solutions via RCPS
+ Review closure of actions from 5Ys raised
+ Input into Root cause analysis-Fishbone on recurring or major issues
+ Contribute and execute tasks in DMAIC Focused Improvement projects, lead projects where appropriate
+ Engage in start of shift meetings and performance-based team meetings to raise and address persistent performance issues.
+ Anticipate issues and be more proactive in approach
+ Perform Consumer/Customer complaints investigation
**Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices**
+ Conduct line audits and process control monitoring to continuously improve housekeeping, safety, work practices and customer service, and performance
+ Support training activities to build operator awareness of quality and food safety procedures.
+ Verify effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation activities
+ Ensure compliance with personal hygiene, zoning, and cross-contamination controls within production areas.
+ Monitor pest control activities and escalate any risks to the QA team.

+ Support preparation for internal, and external certification audits.
+ Assist in maintaining up-to-date SOPs, work instructions, and quality forms.

**Who will you be working with?**
Reporting to the Global Operations Director, as a key member of the Digital Mine team, the Industrial Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of a medium-volume electronics assembly lines wherein you will be tasked to drive the streamlining of all manufacturing lines and the creation of cost-effective solutions through cross-functional teams collaboration. You will ensure that all outside soruced products are manufactured according to the applicable codes and standard.
**Where is the position located?**
Fountaindale, NSW or Brisbane, QLD (with visits to Fountaindale, NSW).
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Maintain, report and drive improvement activities related to all operational quality matters. This will include, but not limited to, supplier quality, production process maintenance and improvements , overseeing all inhouse PPAP deliveries and and determine the ideal performance specifications and operations metrics.
+ Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between Suppliers, Purchasing, Quality, and Design teams.
+ Guide suppliers in developing exceptionally robust processes and procedures to promote efficient and seamless production of high-quality products.
+ Supervising production maintenance work and supplying technical advisory support to the Operations team.
+ Designing and developing control systems and production throughput initiatives.
+ Designing and implementing equipment modifications to help improve operational safety and reliability.
+ Investigating and testing concepts to improve existing systems or to overcome machinery problems.
+ Making parts and installing and testing machinery.
+ Carrying out maintenance and identifying and repairing faults in equipment.
+ Ensuring that technicians maintain a level of expertise within their emphasis through training, SOP development, goal development, follow-up, and performance appraisals.
+ Providing operational and technical support to the plant technicians.
+ Performing activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of plant operations.
+ Use structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root cause faults and implement related corrective actions.
+ Work with team members to ensure accurate completion and maintenance of operations related documents.
+ Perform manufacturing process audits at Digital Mine locations; issue corrective actions and following up to ensure their completion; performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
+ Review, approve, and create improvement plans for product submission packages (PPAP, ISIR, FAI etc.)
+ Assures that customer complaints caused by products are addressed expeditiously and appropriate root cause corrective action are provided to the customer and implemented within the process. Contributes to maintaining strong positive working relationships with cross functional departments.
+ Continuously evaluates materials and the processes/systems to produce them to assure best quality products at the best possible price.
+ Assist procurement with supplier selection, development, and risk.
**What do we want to know about you?**
+ Engineering Degree (Electronic, Mechatronic, or related field of study preferred).
+ Proven practical experience of running and owning a high-volume manufacturing line as Manufacturing, Process or Quality Engineer.
+ Experience of personally driving DFM/DFA discussions with supplier and engineering teams to improve the design, manufacturability and feasible CTQs.
+ Working knowledge of SMT process and understanding of PCBAs and understanding of Firmware flashing and end-of-line/Functional testers.
+ Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and simply.
+ Strong understanding of statistical process control techniques; process capability assessment (Cpk, Ppk), MSA.
+ Good understanding/knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis.
+ Experience with reviewing, approving, and creating improvement plans for product submission packages (PPAP, ISIR, FAI etc.).
+ Ability to drive to true root cause and identify appropriate short and long-term countermeasures.
+ Strong people and communication skills, analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement efforts also essential, along with the ability to coach, and lead individuals and teams.
+ Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methods.
+ Understanding of quality tools and metrics.

**About the Role:**
As Head of Maintenance & Reliability Engineering you lead our Vienna team of executives and experts, driving innovative technical solutions that align local needs with our global network strategy. As a member of the local Site Engineering Leadership Team, you'll represent the site in steering committees, global communities of practice, and during regulatory inspections.
**How you will contribute:**
+ Lead and strategically align the Maintenance & Reliability teams in Vienna in line with Takeda's strategy
+ Build and develop a high-performing maintenance department
+ Design and implement state-of-the-art maintenance and reliability processes aligned with local and global standards
+ Plan and manage daily maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, and supporting processes (e.g., spare parts management, 3D printing, work order management, CMMS ownership)
+ Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, legal requirements (e.g., Employee Protection Act), and global Takeda policies
+ Manage internal and external service providers in a 24/7 cGMP environment.
+ Meet customer needs, budget targets, and regulatory requirements
+ Oversee the Asset Investment Management Program (AIMP).
+ Act as "Shut Down Network Lead," coordinating cross-functional shutdown activities
+ Represent the department in local steering committees (e.g., Tier Boards) and in global Communities of Practice
