**Job Description Summary**
The Delivery Manager is a pivotal part of the services organization, who owns the project's Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project. The Delivery Manager cultivates relationships with a portfolio of customers in both pre-sales and project delivery phases and provides objective advice and assistance on the strategy, structure, management and operations of a customer organization, in support of identified business purposes and objectives.
The Delivery Manager provides technical leadership in pre-sales and delivery phases to clients, cross-functional GE teams and key suppliers to identify and define client business outcomes and continues to manage those relationships to ensure outcomes are met within project constraints. You will play a key leadership role in defining, implementing and maintaining the internal Project Engineering team's best practices and delivery standards across existing and new opportunities.

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM) through close coordination for scope management, schedule, risk management, and quality management.
+ Accountable for the end-to-end software delivery to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.
+ Project Execution control: Build effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as well as accurately track, update, and report task activity progress. Manage project team and activities to drive project deliverables
+ Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Customer, Project team (APAC and global), DevOps on project and technical items such as project status, risks and mitigation, scope, and issues
+ Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Requirements, Design, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness) within GE and the customer
+ Utilize software delivery performance measurement tools and indicators (e.g.Smartsheets)
+ Deploy GE GridOS DERMS solutions to client environments to support project use cases and DER planning scenarios.
+ Prepare input data such as network model files, load & generation forecasts, future planning scenarios, and generation cost data.
+ Prepare, modify, and configure client and testing input data for solutions by creating scripts and automating data processing systems.
+ Convert and validate client CIM distribution network models using developed tools and scripts, validating powerflow results.
+ Lead the custom adapter, connector, API, or microservice design and development to fully integrate the GE GridOS DERMS solution into the client environment.
+ Fluent in full stack development, backend services, middleware, and presentation layer including UI/UX needs in order to deliver custom integrated solutions to our clients.
+ Collaborate with our Service Engineering development lead during the development cycle to ensure all custom deliverables meet defined needs and standards and are on time and budget.
+ Respond to all client inquiries, bugs, and product ideas for in-flight projects and file tickets for the Product team.
+ Lead the simulation of project scenarios utilising combinations of solutions, configuration, and input data.
+ Perform use case and client specific testing runs and lead factory and site acceptance testing.
+ Debug software bugs, documenting issues for the testing teams.
+ Automate solution processes and complete workflows using existing API documentation.
+ Analyse and assess data and results of project activities and tasks.
+ Hands-On experience, with certification a plus, in deploying solution to the AWS cloud (GE's and / or the clients).
+ Report on project outcomes and present findings to project partners and stakeholders.
+ Utilize GE Product knowledge and expertise to drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement, change management (costs base reduction, lead time reduction, productivity improvement, quality improvement, etc)
+ Agile mindset and ability to work with one or more Scrum Teams (Region and Global team) to execute and deliver solutions for our customers
+ Good understanding of DevOps concepts, such as automated builds, automated deployments and automated tests, to lead customers and apply those concepts to your daily deliverables
+ Validate project scope review in coordination with the Solution Design team identifying, documenting, and estimating any change requests (CR) or project risks with mitigation plans. Work with Project Manager to communicate with customer.
+ Assist in the tendering process for project proposals or CRs working with the Customer Engagement team/resource managers to validate scope and estimates as well as reviewing each proposal with the customer.
+ Ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance at project end
+ Engage in Customer management activities with Project Manager
+ Work with Project Manager to report or resolve any process non-conformances in a timely manner

**Solution Advisory & Design Support**
+ Provide subject matter expertise supporting DERMS architecture, control strategy, and operational workflows.

**DER Gateway Integration & Operational Readiness**

**Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Team Collaboration**

**Required Skills and Experience:**
**To be successful for this role you would possess and/or demonstrate the following (but not limited to):**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Those with certifications in IEEE 2030.5 Training / Certification and/ or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900 or AZ-104) would be highly considered.
+ To be considered for this role you would possess at least 10+ years experience working with or delivering projects for utilities, aggregators, or regulators (preferably in Australia or similar regulated market) of which 3+ years of hands-on experience with DERMS platforms (e.g. GridOS,ADMs AutoGrid, OSI, Schneider DERMS, mPrest, etc.) and ability to validate DER telemetry ingestion, dispatch schedules, and fallback/default logic
+ Essential to this role is the ability to demonstrate experience integrating DERMS with Advance Distribution Management System (ADMS), SCADA or LDAP as well as familiarity with Azure, particularly Azure Landing Zones, AKS, and ExpressRoute
+ Working knowledge of CSIP-AUS, IEEE 2030.5 as well as compliance in NEM, AEMO, or cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS) is essential for the success of the role.
+ Those with experience in at least FAT, SAT, UAT, or performance testing of energy platforms would be advantageous

+ Define end-to-end technical architecture for control systems, telemetry pipelines, and DER integration using Kafka, ActiveMQ, Helm, Istio, MinIO, and PostgreSQL.
+ Lead technical solutioning in pre-sales (ITO) efforts; provide expert architectural input into Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, and delivery assumptions.
+ Translate complex business needs into reference architecture, solution blueprints, and service composition across integration domains.
**Project Oversight & Technical Governance**
+ Supervise and be technically accountable for architecture across multiple parallel GridOS projects via the Delivery Managers.

The Ranger rehabilitation project is about converting a former Uranium mine, after 35 years of operations, to a thriving native bushland that can be incorporated into the surrounding Kakadu National Park. In this role, you will lead the Bulk Material Movement (BMM) work package on Ranger Rehab Study. This is an exciting opportunity to optimize the closure phase of one of Australia's most important mine sites, developing and implementing an innovative waste stockpile grade characterization methodology to optimize material movement plans. Working Monday to Friday, located primarily from the Brisbane project office the role reports to the Technical Studies Manager.

Drive the development and implementation of the Bulk Material movement (BMM) plan to construct the Final Landform across the disturbed mine site to rehabilitate the pits, ponds, stockpiles and other facilities. The study will include an innovative stockpile modelling methodology in collaboration with specialist consultants and site based mine planners, leveraging technical skills in multiple software environments. This role is critical to improving stockpile modelling and refining material movement strategies to optimize delivery of our closure objectives. The successful candidate will form strong working relationships with:
+ Site based closure planning and execution teams.
+ Your colleagues in the closure study team in Brisbane and Darwin.
+ Internal subject matter experts in our Surface Mining and Orebody Knowledge Centre's of Excellence
**The successful candidate will:**
+ Assist with coordinating all engineering activities for the defined area of responsibility for the full project life cycle, including supporting compliance with standardised processes, systems & tools
+ Coordinates the engagement and management of specialist technical contractors / consultants to clarify and optimize bulk material movement work package deliverables
+ Provides engineering and technical support to project Construction teams as required
+ Works closely with project planning and scheduling to develop and maintain project schedule
+ Assists in producing technical reports and project reviews complete with recommendations
+ Coordinates project finances to meet project requirements including assisting with the development of operating and capital budgets
+ Plans and conducts independent Civil/Structural BMM work requiring judgment in the?evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of material movement?techniques, procedures and criteria on the project
+ Interprets new or special regulations, codes, standards, criteria, and performance?data.

+ Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
+ Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Geology, Geospatial Science or a related field
+ Project management experience to drive progress in the BMM workstream to underpin a complex, integrated schedule of work and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
+ The ability to develop strong professional relationships with those stakeholders
+ The ability to influence peers, leaders and other stakeholders to ensure bulk material movement is optimized within competing priorities and the evolving knowledge of the technical challenges to be solved
+ Proficiency in Block modelling and Geospatial analysis to develop and validate high-resolution stockpile models
+ Strong experience using Maptek's Vulcan package
+ Undertake regular travel to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
+ Contribute to multi-disciplinary collaboration across the studies team with the provision of expertise from their relevant discipline across the entire study scope
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders to give confidence in the future closure strategy and to drive a culture of collaboration and partnership.

# Project Overview:
Bechtel Mining and Metals offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the mining sector across multiple commodities including Iron Ore, Bauxite, Alumina, Aluminium, Copper, Gold, Coal, Lithium and Rare Earths markets.
Headquartered in Santiago, Chile, the M&M global business unit also has offices in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide in Australia along with execution units in the United States, Peru, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, India and other project locations around the world.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team of process/chemical?personnel, estimate project staffing needs, and schedule and assign work. You will prepare estimates and work plans and review and approve process/chemical investigations and studies. Your leadership and technical expertise will ensure process safety and compliance, client satisfaction, resolution of issues, and that project requirements are met.
**_This is a fulltime position with possible work from home options as per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with function or project leadership._**
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Plans, develops, directs, and participates in the day-to-day Process/Chemical engineering?activity on small to medium sized projects or a portion of a major project with minimal to?moderate complexity within a global business unit utilizing relevant Engineering?Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard?Application Programs (BSAPs).
+ Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of personnel assigned, estimates?staffing needs and schedules and assigns work accordingly.
+ Provides the technical input to meet procurement requirements.
+ Prepares or oversees the preparation of Process/Chemical discipline estimates and work plans in?accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget, and manages implementation?and performance accordingly.
+ Reviews and makes recommendations of the Process/Chemical engineering aspects of bid?evaluations and awards for approval by project engineering.
+ When directed, coordinates with client representatives to obtain their approval of?Process/Chemical engineering aspects of the work.
+ Reviews and approves key calculations, licensing evaluations, design documents,?supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, and change orders, for?the project to which assigned.
+ Ensures that assigned Process/Chemical engineering personnel receive appropriate on-the-job?training for their professional development.
+ Assists in the preparation and reviews of project procedures and cost estimates for?proposals, forecasts, and change orders.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ A recognized degree in Metallurgical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited College or University.
+ Demonstrated capability of Process EGS and Supervisor for hydrometallurgical process flowsheets for Feasibility study to EPCM execution.
+ Broad commodities knowledge of processes for copper and gold flowsheets.
+ Ability to work in multinational project team group.
+ Knowledge of process systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computers in the discipline.
+ Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods.
+ Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines.
+ Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.
+ Knowledge of industry /regulatory codes and standards, and design and/or layout criteria pertinent to the particular discipline.
+ Skill in oral and written communication.
+ Knowledge of Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), Design Guides, appropriate Bechtel Standard Computer Applications (BSAPs) and administrative practices.
+ Demonstrated skill in leadership.
+ Knowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project.
+ Broad progressive work experience in design engineering, science or other relevant types of engineering such as systems startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/construction firms.
