**Summary:**
Bentley Systems is seeking an Application Engineer - Transportation to support strategic infrastructure accounts across East Coast Australia. This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.
As An Application Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between Bentley's products and user needs by providing technical expertise and collaborating with accounts to understand the requirements and offer valuable solutions.
The AE engages in product demonstrations and contribute valuable technical insights and collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure that the proposed products and solutions address user needs and contribute to the successful acquisition of new business through technical closure.
By developing a unique relationship and understanding of both the Bentley civil transportation products and solutions as well as the user needs, the Application Engineer plays a key role in our ability to use that knowledge in Account Advancement, User Advancement, and Product Advancement.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Interact with prospects to understand their specific need and requirements.
+ Engage directly with prospects to conduct discovery sessions and define requirements.
+ Create and deliver effective presentations and demonstrations illustrating the capabilities, workflows, and value of Bentley applications to users and prospects.
+ Develop and prepare datasets for user presentations and demonstrations.
+ Develop content (i.e., videos) that can be delivered in one-to-one or one-to-many modes, contributing to a standardized repository of reusable content.
+ Deliver presentations and provide support for corporate sales and marketing events.
+ Contribute to written proposal development and submission.
+ Prepare and recommend scope of services for Enterprise Success to implement.
+ Prepare and deliver relevant feedback to Product Teams to improve our products (from product issues to user needs).
+ Serve as the technical liaison between Account Advancement and Enterprise Success teams.
+ Work with Product teams to stay up to date with current releases of Bentley applications.
+ Understand Infrastructure design standards as well as methodologies and make recommendations for conformant product configurations.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
**Qualification:**
+ Strong functional knowledge using relevant Bentley transportation design software such as OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, OpenRail Overhead Line Designer, Bentley Rail Track (InRail), MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, GEOPAK, and/or InRoads. (Power User Level) Experience with other related industry civil engineering applications such as Civil3D, MX, Trimble is beneficial.
+ Outstanding speaking, presentation, and demonstration skills.
+ Ability to explain complex topics to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority.
+ Independent judgment, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
+ Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new complex products.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Effectively collaborate with teams leveraging communication and project management to define objectives and deliver focus.

+ Deliver a first-class service to our customers across, automotive, high horsepower, on-highway and power generation product applications.
+ Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
+ Diagnose and repair various engines

**Job Summary:**
The primary responsibility of the Steam/Gas Mechanic is to safely accomplish the installation, maintenance and repair of the heavy rotating machinery used mainly in power generation applications. Turbine Mechanics work closely with Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to achieve these goals. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Dismantle, assemble, move and align, machinery and equipment using: hoists, cranes, chain falls, hand tools, power tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, micrometers, rules, squares, plumb bobs, dial indicators and/or laser alignment equipment
+ Read blueprints, schematic drawings and technical documentation to determine proper work procedures
+ Responsible for shipping and receiving all major pieces for T&DC, plus all shipping, receiving, inventory, and control of tools, equipment and supplies
+ Perform material and machine inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, rules, calipers, protractors, and torque wrenches
+ Perform machining and welding operations for making various parts for lab and shop training equipment
+ Determine equipment specifications and prepare parts lists for purchasing, consisting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic devices as needed to complete assigned projects
+ Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment and supplies and perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs as needed
+ Read blueprints, schematic drawings and technical documentation to determine proper work procedures
+ Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in industrial establishments
+ Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
**Required Qualifications & Experience** :
+ Minimum of one (1) years' experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial service equipment including various pumps, motors, fans, generators, and turbines
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Preferred: Degree/Associate Degree in Technical Field or Gas Turbine Systems
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Ability to disassemble and reassemble complex rotating equipment - Bolting, Hydraulic Bolting, Flange Management, Small Bore Piping, Basic Rigging/Lifting, O/H Crane Operator
+ Proficient in the following: mechanical/technical skills, oral communications skills, Critical Thinking
+ Manage time-sensitive tasks and maintain a schedule within operationally challenging environments.

**About the Role**
Join Xylem's Service and Rental team in Kalgoorlie as a Diesel Service Technician. This is a full-time, locally-based role - no FIFO. You'll perform scheduled and emergency service work on Xylem's range of diesel pump systems and related equipment, working both in the Xylem workshop.
**Duties**
- Service, repair and overhaul diesel pump sets and related equipment
- Install, test and commission pumps to operational standards before dispatch
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and scheduled field service across Goldfields region
