We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Senior Ford Pro Specialist to manage after-sales service and support for our key Ford Fleet customers. In this role, you will be the primary liaison, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by resolving escalated service and operational vehicle concerns through close collaboration with FMO service teams, FCSD Service Engineering, CRC, and our dealer network.

+ Fleet experience highly valued, but not mandatory.

**About the role**
Our Transport Planning and Advisory team partners with its clients to provide traffic and transport solutions for the community and we currently seek a Transport Designer to join our team based in Melbourne. You will be working as part of a dedicated transport team on a range of projects and will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient transport design services as well as collaborating with a range of other engineering disciplines.
**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Undertake site inspections and gather base information on road environment, traffic and road safety observation, parking inventories and facilities etc.
+ Prepare transport design plans including concept, functional layouts, swept path assessments, line marking and signage and traffic signal design.
+ Design projects will include a wide range of scenarios, including car park design, site access and internal road network design, intersection design, loading dock facilities, active travel, public transport infrastructure, local area traffic management and construction traffic management etc.
+ Familiarity with relevant design standards and requirements for horizontal (2D) alignments
+ Prepare fee proposals, design reports and other design related documentation.

**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Diploma or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline

The Parts Interpreter role is a technical support position which assists customers in identifying spare parts and processing parts sales. The role requires a mechanically minded individual with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
The Parts Interpreter is responsible for accurate and timely communication with service technicians and workshop staff and supports the Business Development Managers and Sales staff where necessary to ensure strong customer relationship support.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Respond to incoming Parts requests via email and phone (internal/external customers)
+ Interpretation of Parts requirements using parts manuals / computer applications
+ Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
+ Process customers quotations and orders, ensuring accuracy
+ Follow up all customer enquiries on supply lead times, shipment methods and backorders
+ Coordinate deliveries and supply from multiple supply locations to deliver in full where possible

+ Ensure freight charges (local and international) are accurate to ensure recovery/margin

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

What You'll DoIn the role of Vehicle Mechanic, your duties will include:
+ Using manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a vehicle.
+ Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to customers.
+ Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience and other organizational methods.
+ Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.
+ Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested.
+ Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil and rotating tires.
+ Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a vehicle.
Requirements:
+ Must have a US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance.
+ Must be a US or Australian certified vehicle mechanic.
+ Must have a minimum of five years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
+ Requires a high school diploma, and further specialized training in automotive service technology.
+ Though not necessary, an associate degree with classes in math, electronics or auto repair is desired.
This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

+ Dismantle and assemble machinery and equipment using a variety of hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
+ Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on power tools, hand tools and training equipment.
+ Move machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, chain falls and trucks.
+ Align machinery and equipment using hoists, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, dial indicators and/or laser alignment equipment.
+ Perform machining and welding operations for making various parts for lab and shop training equipment
+ Perform material and machine inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, rules, calipers, protractors, and torque wrenches.
+ Responsible for shipping and receiving all major pieces for T&DC, plus all shipping, receiving, inventory, and control of tools, equipment and supplies
+ Determine equipment specifications and prepare parts lists for purchasing, consisting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic devices as needed to complete assigned projects.
+ Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment and supplies.
+ Availability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time
+ Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments - Field
**Required Qualifications & Experience** :
+ Degree or associate degree in Technical Field, Gas Turbine Systems Technician preferred
+ Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial service equipment including various pumps, motors, fans, generators, and turbines.
+ Must have experience performing equipment alignments using either laser or traditional methods.
+ Must have Driver's License
+ Must possess minimum required hand tools.

+ Complete breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance of heavy diesel products
+ Diagnose and repair various engines.

+ Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Field Service Supervisor
