In this role, you will drive mechanical engineering services design, construction, and implementation of enterprise data centres that meet global quality and performance standards. Working directly with Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams within the APAC region.

Key job responsibilities
- Evaluate cooling systems using in-depth CFD knowledge to make data-driven decisions aligned with our guidelines
- Drive successful project delivery while maintaining the highest performance standards
- Utilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption, and CAPEX while increasing efficiency
- Develop mechanical documentation including but not limited to narratives, drawings, specifications, etc.
- Drive process improvements across the organization.
- Perform building energy use calculations for determining capacity and type of cooling system required
- Perform CFD models on innovative and next generation designs
- Provide reports to senior leadership on the results of those models
- Perform water efficiency use calculations to determine quantity of water needed on site
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to answer requests for information
- Work with global ME teams to achieve alignment of design and CFD modeling standards
- Develop special projects and assist senior engineers with detailed calculations for special projects
- This position will involve travel (20%)

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years experience with Sigma Six or HELYX CFD modeling software
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering
- Thorough understanding and use of principals, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering
- 8 years experience in designing HVAC systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer in training or Chartered Engineer
- Understanding of building controls documentation
- Programming skills in Python and AI tools
- Deep understanding of data center mechanical systems and cooling control schemes.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, AIRAH, etc.

+ Perform technical studies, analyses, investigations and consultations.

+ Design and/or develop solutions for a variety of technical problems of moderate to extreme scope and complexity across the mechanical engineering discipline.

+ Perform engineering calculations in support of facility infrastructure operation and design.
+ Provide technical recommendations, input, direction and advice on facilities system, infrastructure and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, life-cycle management and costing.
+ Development of ROM costing estimates in support of facility infrastructure, equipment and system modification, upgrade, replacement and/or recapitalization.
+ Evaluate operational systems, equipment, processes and infrastructure in support of general and targeted optimization and improvement initiatives.
+ Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.

You are a design focused Principal Mechanical Engineer/ Technical Director looking to relocate to Australia for an extended period. You will be motivated by achievement, outcome-focused.  You will have previous experience with consulting to water utilities.
You possess a pragmatic approach to the development of constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.
+ You are a Chartered Engineer in the UK or Europe
+ Design consulting experience in water and wastewater treatment, plant and equipment, pumps, valves & project management
+ You have demonstrated experience in the water infrastructure sector in a consulting environment.
+ Proven ability to work in, and lead, engineering, and design modelling teams, work directly with Water Authority clients, and manage projects to scope, budget and program.

Raytheon Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our Joint Adversarial Training & Testing Services (JATTS) Program located in the beautiful Shoalhaven region near Nowra NSW. JATTS provides operational training against live aerial opposing forces (red air), airborne Electronic Warfare and aerial targets.
Raytheon Australia has been providing airborne adversarial Electronic Warfare (EW) training for Australian Defence Force warfare and command teams since 2001. We deliver this capability using highly modified special mission Learjet 35A aircraft configured to simulate real-world airborne EW threats in differing electromagnetic environments across all combat domains.
Our team is diversely skilled and responsible for providing real world airborne simulation involving sophisticated EW system training, test, experimentation and evaluation trials, systems certification, radar jamming and deception, communications denial and deception and radar threat simulation to the Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Navy and other Australian Defence assets. In conjunction with our technical and engineering team, your mission will be to
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position
+ Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer as part of a CASA CAR30 Maintenance Organisation delivering services within the CASA Aerial Work Category.
+ Ensure all aircraft maintenance, documentation and certification is carried out and completed in line with the Raytheon Australia System of Maintenance and Engineering Procedures Manuals.
+ Perform, implement and maintain any required shift / task handovers
+ Supervise maintenance personnel and support apprentices when required
+ Responsible for the general condition, upkeep of the hangar and workshop
+ Point of contact for work related phone calls whilst on duty
+ Deploy with Aircraft to provide maintenance and logistics support both nationally and Internationally
+ Perform any other duties as directed by Raytheon Chief Maintenance Engineer
**Reporting Relationship**
+ The position reports directly to the Raytheon Australia Chief Maintenance Engineer
**Qualification Requirements**
Essential:
+ Experienced LAME B1
+ If not type rated, available to complete the Learjet 35/36 type course. Type course provided by Raytheon if required.
**Desirable:**
+ Hold a current Part 66 B1 license Learjet 35/36 type rating
+ Current First Aid Certificate
+ Forklift license
Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA)
