**About the role**
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded **Mechanical Engineering, Project Technical Lead** to join our Perth Buildings team. This is a full-time role that blends technical excellence with business development and client engagement.
As a senior member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in **driving project success, expanding client relationships, and assisting with business development opportunities** across a diverse portfolio of building projects. **To be successful for this role you'll need:**

We have an opening for an Electrical Colo Regional Engineer in Melbourne. As an Electrical Colo Regional Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. Key job responsibilities
- Work with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers in your region, including design input, submittal review and incorporating AWS products to ensure the design is meeting AWS expectations
- Act as resident engineer during new colo construction projects. Support construction, commissioning, and handover
- Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failure
- Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex operating procedure reviews, including essential equipment, and event support
- Provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency
- Supporting operating partners to lead, review, and approve designs for existing co-location (colo) data center upgrades which improve availability/efficiency
- Interface with operating partners, data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners
- Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions
- Initiate and lead engineering site audits within leased or colo data centers. Produce reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations and remediation's

Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers. You will prioritize your activities to support data center capacity availability and safety focusing on the actions that are most impactful. As a Mechanical Colo Regional Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will be the 'go to' engineering resource for your region when technical advice is needed, and will use your subject matter expertise and engage with diverse teams.

As a Mechanical Colo Regional Engineer, you will be leading projects to fit out the data centers we support to meet ever-evolving customer needs as we continue expanding our fleet to hyper-scale. As an ideal candidate you:

Key job responsibilities
* Work with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers in your region, including design input, submittal review and incorporating AWS products to ensure the design is meeting AWS expectations.
* Act as resident engineer during new colo construction projects. Support construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.
* Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex operating procedure reviews, including essential equipment, and event support.
* Provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency.
* Supporting operating partners to lead, review, and approve designs for existing co-location (colo) data center upgrades which improve availability/efficiency.
* Interface with operating partners, data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners.
* Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
* Initiate and lead engineering site audits within leased or colo data centers. Produce reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations and remediation's.
A day in the life
Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers. You will prioritize your activities to support data center capacity availability and safety focusing on the actions that are most impactful. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.

The Engineering Services Manager will perform Engineering and Technical tasks for New Footscray Hospital. This role provides engineering support, technical reviews, development of scope of works, preparation of engineering and building services related documentation for TAM Operations.
+ Technical and design review of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, scopes and the like
+ Liaison with the project team including design consultants, the builder and key project stakeholders to develop, protect and progress Honeywell's engineering and business objectives
+ Development of engineering, technical, business and risk mitigation documentation, procedures, and solutions
+ Work with Operations teams to identify and manage potential building, equipment or design defects
+ Key stakeholder engagement with our clients, project partners and key subcontractors
+ Engineering Degree/qualification in Mechanical or Electrical
+ 5 Years Engineering or Business Leadership experience
+ Requires extensive and demonstrated experience working across building services / construction / operational projects.
+ Proven background in Services engineering is essential. A demonstrated history working across engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, fire, etc) is highly regarded
+ Ability to work effectively in a customer driven functional engineering capacity

Amazon is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Senior Operations Engineer to be a part of our team developing and delivering the next generation of world-class fulfillment systems.
As an Senior Operations Engineer for Amazon Fulfillment, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the design, development, and delivery of physical distribution systems around the globe. You are responsible for managing a technology or integration project, successfully delivering the solution to meet project goals. You may work directly with external equipment vendors, customers, or partners, and you have a solid understanding of the design approaches and industry technologies utilized in fulfillment and distribution center designs. To meet timelines and minimize disruption to support teams, you manage the overall schedule, proactively mitigate risks, and keep the scope of engineering deliverables under control.

Key job responsibilities
- Work independently with internal and external engineering teams to successfully deliver cross-functional projects that are of a high-quality (e.g., on-time, on-budget, maintainable, low-defects, etc.).
- Partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet a deadline.
- Influence technical documentation content, perform documentation review, dive deep into system layouts and solutions.
- Competently represent system and/or equipment designs to both customers and other teams.
- Communicate project status, effectively answer project questions in detail, and regularly produce clear and concise summaries for the projects you own to your leadership/management team.
- Excel at developing good working relationships with vendors, engineers, managers, and peers.
- Participate in design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout.
- Efficiently manage budget documents, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing.
- Build strong working relationships with FC/SC leadership and their operations teams across multiple sites as well as their Launch, Facilities, Finance, Safety, Process Engineers, and other business stakeholders.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams within a geographic node.
- Travel up to 50% domestically although travel intensity can be variable and consist of up to three weeks in a row, including weekends.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
- Fluency in French, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Afrikaans or Zulu
