**About the role:**
We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for our thriving Water Group in our Brisbane office. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and designing electrical systems, and networks for engineering projects in our Water Division. You will work under the general direction of the Water Infrastructure Group Leader and be responsible for a small team of Electrical Engineers.
**The Principal Electrical Engineer/Team Lead will be responsible for:**
* Perform electrical engineering design which includes modelling, engineering drawings, calculations, reports and design criteria to support electrical engineering projects.
* Perform calculations to analyze and design electrical systems using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
* Assist in the evaluation and selection of electrical systems and materials and the development of electrical specifications.
* Contribute to the development of electrical systems, through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
* Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
* Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
* Prepare electrical engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans and schedules.
* Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.
* Recognize when technical problems are developing and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
* Be available for onsite visits or project commissioning as required from time to time
* Be stationed in a client environment on small secondment when required
* Recognize and champion safe working practices in electrical industry
**To be successful for this role you'll present:**
* Tertiary Qualification in Engineering with an emphasis on Electrical.
* Atleast 10 years' or more experience in a similar position with well-rounded experience in on Water and Wastewater projects.
* Consultancy industry experience is highly beneficial.
* Knowledge and experience in LV and MV power systems in Australia.
* Experience with CAD and power engineering software tools.
* Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
* Hold CPEng and RPEQ status.
* Be willing to offer mentorship to junior engineers based on appropriate level of knowledge

Reporting to the Transport Group Lead - Queensland, you will be leading our civil drafting team at office in South Brisbane and will have the opportunity to work on significant major infrastructure projects.
**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Undertake design and documentation with an advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD
+ Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of draftspersons to maintain technically high standard and techniques (DoT, council standards)
+ Complete, review and validate design drawings and documentation with a high focus on quality
+ Overseeing and facilitating knowledge sharing including mentoring junior team members
+ Develop and implement training curriculums to support CAD technologies and provide learning support through coaching and sharing of knowledge.
**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Tertiary qualifications in Drafting or Engineering and/or relevant equivalent work experience including documentation for transport and civil infrastructure projects
+ Experience in leading a team of civil drafters, managing project resourcing and quality of outputs and client deliverables.
+ Extensive experience delivering a range of Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects, all in accordance with their specifications.

Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are currently looking for an experienced Snr Quantity Surveyor to join the team based in Melbourne, reporting to the Manager, Commercial & Quantity Surveying Services.
You will play a crucial role in the delivery of professional building cost management and construction cost consulting services.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Estimate and monitor construction costs from the project feasibility stage, through tender preparation, to the construction period and beyond.
+ Maximise value, minimise risk, and optimise all building cost outcomes.
+ Complete detailed cost estimates calculated from a measured scope of works.
+ Mentoring and supporting other Quantity Surveyor
+ Compare contractor's quotations against industry standard building rates and margins.
+ Provide m2 elemental reports to estimate "value at risk" for underinsurance purposes.
+ Complete progress claims and variation assessments.
+ Work closely with internal loss adjusters
**About you:**
+ Qualification: Either Bachelor of Building and Construction Management, Bachelor of Construction Management and Property, Bachelor of Urban Development (Quantity Surveying and Cost Engineering) or Bachelor of Construction
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Sound knowledge of the insurance industry (claims lifecycle) including the legislative framework, applicable codes and products.
+ Intermediate Microsoft office skills
+ A thorough knowledge of building costs and construction techniques
+ Experience working within the insurance industry on domestic and commercial losses
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Have a current Drivers Licence

The senior manager of Infrastructure Delivery - Network and Data Center, will lead a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for network and data center capacity builds to support the growth of Oracle Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate can manage fast paced delivery while leveraging their proven leadership and program management capabilities. This is a high impact role that will lead a highly motivated team through the end-to-end lifecycle required to successfully deliver the next generation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Our team ensures the on time, on budget and on schedule delivery inclusive of facility tenant improvements, data hall construction, network augmentations and data center fit out through general availability. Some key detailed team accountabilities include tracking financials, bid analysis, contract negotiations, award of contracts, purchasing and tracking materials as well as overseeing the onsite construction/fit out work.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to dive deep on network and infrastructure build issues, oversee construction management and manage delivery; they can also inspire and nurture a distributed team, demonstrate system level thinking and drive process improvements as well as support their team throughout the project lifecycle.
**What You'll Bring:**
+ Experience in Project Management, Construction Management or proven technical equivalent experience.
+ 8+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, and leading a team
+ 5+ years of experience with outside vendor management, stakeholder relationship management, and delivering complex technology projects
+ Experience with varying scenarios of data center construction, infrastructure builds and network augmentations.
+ Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, mechanical and electrical systems)
+ Ability to inspire confidence in executive leaders and motivate team members
+ Experience leading through ambiguity; proven track record of implementing solutions that improve delivery
