We have a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Darwin.
Reporting to the Group Leader, you will have an opportunity to work on civil design projects related to land, urban and subdivisions. This is a great career pathway for an experienced Civil Engineer who seeks to grow their technical and leadership capabilities in a global engineering consultancy.

**About the role**
This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design and construction documentation. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management.
The role will suit will an experienced Civil Engineer with Australian experience, someone who has good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of projects.
**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Civil design mainly relating to urban, land, buildings civil and subdivisions
+ Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
+ Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
+ Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.
+ Managing clients and other consultants.
+ Assist with project management and business development.
+ Support Project Leaders Managers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.
**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
+ Demonstrated experience in the civil engineering related to design and delivery of urban, land and subdivisions
+ Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and state requirements
+ Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible
+ Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance

Our established and growing Civil team is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join in a permanent full time role in South Brisbane. Reporting to the Buildings Civil Group Leader, your will be involved with civil design and project delivery of civil aspects for a variety of civil engineering projects.
Reporting to the Buildings Civil Group Leader, your will be involved with civil design and project delivery of civil aspects for a variety of civil engineering projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design, approvals, construction documentation and site inspections.
Stantec have a strong pipeline of work in the Health, Defence, Land Development (subdivision) and Commercial sectors and are looking for a career minded Civil Engineer to join their team.
**About the role**
Stantec are currently delivering some of Queensland's largest hospital and Defence Estate projects along with a variety of commercial, industrial, land development (residential greenfield communities),and general civil infrastructure projects.
Successful applicants will have good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of areas including earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, sewer and water network design, including clear knowledge of local standards and processes.
**Day-to-day responsibilities include:**
+ Attending meetings with clients and consultants
+ Working with a variety of clients and stakeholders, such as private sector entities, government bodies, and local councils and authorities.
+ Designing, coordinating, and managing civil projects from feasibility through to construction.
+ Offering technical guidance to civil designers and drafters in preparing detailed design drawings, including operational works designs.
+ Preparing and reviewing documents for authority lodgements and applications.
+ Addressing authority requests and exercising judgment in formulating responses.
+ Assisting with project management and business development activities.
+ Applying knowledge of software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCAD to guide team members and review models.
+ Managing multiple projects through effective scheduling and communication.
+ Coordinating multidisciplinary project activities.
+ Preparing technical reports and specifications.
+ Providing technical advice to clients and stakeholders on project matters.
+ Conducting and overseeing site inspections.

**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

+ The ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of current civil engineering technologies, standards, modelling, and construction practices.
+ Progress towards Chartered status or RPEQ certification.

+ Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates Civil/Structural components and?processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design?standards and guides, Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)? and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices?(DRNs)?
+ Designs structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering
+ Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements
+ Originates and checks complex structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions

Our Water Group is growing, and we have opportunities for talented **Senior Civil Engineers** experienced in delivering water and wastewater infrastructure design solutions to join our Brisbane based water team.
