- Experience in technical documentation and processes IAW Quality Standards AS/NZS9001, AS/NZS9100, and AS/NZS45001 framework

- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Visio).
- Specialised knowledge and/or operational understanding of optronics and navigation systems is desirable.

- Responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities within the buildings are being carried out with due regard to Health and Safety, business risk and maintaining the 100% uptime criteria

- Ensure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations
- Assist when/where required with equipment installation works and asset data capture
- Participate in emergency call out roster providing cover for weekend and team member absences, as required
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the building(s) infrastructure and their layouts, functions and complexities

Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, your role is to provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment across Perth and the surrounding areas.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
+ Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance and commissioning of all types of Trane and other brand of Chiller Plants, Air Handling Units and Unitary Air Conditioning Systems
+ Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed
+ Participate in the after hours standby duty roster
+ Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships amongst technicians and apprentices and continually demonstrate the ability to work within pairs and smaller teams
+ Comply with all safety, company and statutory policies and procedures at all times
+ Actively participate in all company facilitated training and service meetings as required by the company
+ As required by the company, facilitate on-site training for technicians/apprentices as well as supervise work performed by an allocated apprentice.
+ Quote and bring new client leads of small service repairs
**To be successful for this role ideally you will have**
+ Experience/exposure to commercial HVAC Chillers
+ Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
+ Current restricted Electrical License
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Construction Induction Card (white card)
+ Current ARC Licence
+ Experience in A/C maintenance and Installations of all types
+ Good time management and customer service skills
+ Technical competence
+ Ability and confidence to work alone and in team environment
+ Positive and proactive approach to safety

The Field Technicians are responsible for conducting planned and corrective maintenance, technical investigations, and support configuration change activities of communication and mission systems to ensure the continued provision of services to the customer. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provision of specialist maintenance services to telemetry and communications equipment. This includes light grade and heavy grade maintenance as defined by the equipment maintenance processes.
+ Deployment and operation of Instrumentation Trailers across the Woomera Test Range in support of defence trials.
+ Producing maintenance reports, meeting key performance indicators for technical compliance and contributing to system health indicators for production and program management.
+ Provision of configuration management support to selected mission systems.
+ Provision of support activities for breakdown spares, repairable items, and support and test equipment.
+ Providing technical support in the conduct of engineering and maintenance services and activities for the customer.
+ The role requires regular travel both within Australia and internationally, including approximately 24 weeks of instrumented testing per year at Woomera Test Range with typical deployments lasting between 1 to 3 weeks.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Requires a Certificate III in Electronics or Telecommunications.
+ Minimum of 3 years relevant post-qualification experience required.
+ A demonstrated understanding of and experience in the application of radio frequency and communication equipment.
+ A demonstrated understanding of and experience in electrical and data interface standards and protocols.
+ A demonstrated understanding of and experience in operating systems/server systems/network protocols.
