**PURPOSE AND SCOPE**
As the Refrigeration Mechanic/HVAC Technician you will perform maintenance and repair to equipment associated with the HVAC infrastructure at OASIS. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance of large chillers, DX refrigeration equipment, chilled water-cooling systems, residential air conditioning systems and the air conditioning systems of its vehicle fleet. Scope of work will range from minor and major repairs, servicing and where necessary replacement of equipment.

**Responsibilities/Duties**
1. Performing maintenance tasks as required. Scheduled or repairs.
2. Performing tasks for project type work as required on an ad hoc basis.
3. Planning of tools, equipment, assistance and materials needed to complete tasks.
4. Liaising with others to notify and organize tasks to be undertaken as required.
5. Ensuring as much as is possible that equipment is maintained to operate in a safe manner.
6. Reporting any incidents via chain of command to Management as a priority
7. Use of computer systems to record and plan work tasks.
8. Assisting in all areas of Facilities Maintenance from as required. Not limited to HV switching, cleaning of mechanical spaces and shops.
9. Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements.
10. All other reasonable duties as requested.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Personnel are required to be medically fit to work and safely complete all physical tasks associated with the role in which they are employed. While this role is predominantly sedentary in nature, personnel must remain able to safely access associated areas and perform required actions without undue impacts to individual health and wellbeing.
**SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT**
It is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will be required to obtain and maintain a TSPV Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance.

What You'll DoIn the role of Vehicle Mechanic, your duties will include:
+ Using manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a vehicle.
+ Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to customers.

The Role – Motor Mechanic (General) < r>We are seeking a full-time, experienced Motor Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles. The position offers a supportive working environment, access to modern diagnostic tools, and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics using advanced tools. < r>• erform maintenance and repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, cooling systems, fuel systems, and electrical components. < r>• E ecute logbook services and routine tasks (oil changes, filters, tire rotation, etc.). < r>• M intain service records and manage workshop documentation accurately. < r>• T oubleshoot and repair complex faults with minimal supervision. < r>• U hold safety and environmental standards in all mechanical tasks. < r>• A sist junior mechanics and contribute to team development where required. < r>About You
• C rtificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or higher. < r>• A least 3 years’ experience in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment. < r>• Inspect and test engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering, braking, and other components for wear or damage. < r>• Remove and disassemble mechanical assemblies for in-depth analysis. < r>• Repair or replace defective parts using OEM components and approved repair techniques. < r>• Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug checks, fluid top-ups, and scheduled maintenance. < r>• Reassemble, adjust, and test repaired components for proper functionality. < r>• Ensure compliance with emission standards and manufacturer guidelines. < r>• Utilize computerized diagnostic and calibration tools to optimize performance. < r>• Perform safety inspections and issue roadworthy certificates or recommend required repairs. < r>• Attend on-site breakdown calls and provide roadside mechanical support when necessary. < r>• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers professionally. < r>
