**Position Summary:**
We are looking for a Software Engineer who will work on the collecting, loading, processing, and analyzing of huge sets of data. The primary focus will be on choosing optimal solutions to use for these purposes, then maintaining, implementing, and monitoring them. · Hands on experience in integrating applications using Apache Camel and message processing using Active MQ message brokers and Quartz Scheduler job
· Proficient in designing development of sequence and class diagrams using UML2.0
· Experience on understanding database design MySQL and Oracle for design of domain model
· Expertise in developing web-based applications using Tomcat Web server and Jetty
· Experienced with popular version control such as Git, SVN and build tools like Maven
· SDLC experience in development methodologies like Agile (SCRUM), and code quality tools Sonar, Jenkins and Task/Bug tracker tools like Jira

· A keen planner and implementer with demonstrated success ensuring quality delivery in line with project specifications and quality standards and very good Team Member with interpersonal Communication Skills.
**Mandatory Skills:**

· Minimum 2years work expertise in design and implement ETL processes using Spring Cloud Data Flow Server (SCDF) and configure SCDF server in cloud environment.

· Expertise in design and develop application using Solace.
· Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Code Fresh, Jenkins etc. should have knowledge to create and pipeline

Responsibilities  

  • Develop and deliver features and services under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring secure and scalable solutions. 
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and contribute to technical planning. 
  • Participate in code reviews, sharing feedback and upholding code quality standards. 
  • Support the team by troubleshooting issues, debugging code, and assisting in problem-solving activities. 
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies and practices to enhance development workflows and product quality. 

Qualifications  

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, ideally with at least some of that in a startup environment 
  • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, React, MUI, Azure 
  • A University degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
  • Experience with Identity, Authentication and Authorisation, including Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, and DevOps and CI/CD is a big plus

About The Role

A permanent opportunity for a Junior to Mid-Level Front End Software Engineer is now available at QuiteLike. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will primarily be responsible for building and nurturing not only our consumer facing products but also our engineering culture dring the early stages of our business. Whilst we are looking for a candidate who is strong in frontend technologies, if you are someone who has worked as a fullstack engineer you will also be considered and we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

About you & your skills

  • Software engineer with at least 3-5 years’ experience
  • Experience with front-end web development and related tools/languages/frameworks
  • React, Javascript, CSS, TypeScript, REST GraphQL, APIs etc.
  • Desirable experience with Next.js, Storybook
  • Desirale experience with release and automation pipelines
  • Experience in content management systems
  • Experience in web performance optimisations
  • Understanding of architectural principles & system design
  • Experience in (or willingness to learn) build pipelines
  • Willingness to gain exposure to other systems and technologies

Engineering quality
