About the Opportunity
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of the educational program for the children. You will be working with a full time Diploma trained educator in delivering the preschool program to children transitioning to school in 2025.
UnitingCare Forestville Preschool , a 4-unit community-based Preschool that is an 80 place service. It has a strong focus on inclusion and support for children with additional needs. Our goal is to enable equitable education outcomes against the five outcome areas of the EYLF for all children in our service.
Your work may include:
- Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- You’ll guide and support educators to implement the program and philosophy for the children.

Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor Teaching / Early Childhood Education
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an ECT
- Possibility of shared Educational Lead role, depending on experience.
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
