A metropolitan mental health service in Tasmania is seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychiatry Registrar to join their Community Care Team, delivering high-quality mental health support in an outpatient setting.

About the Service This metro-based service is known for its patient-centred, multidisciplinary approach and offers:

  • Community-based psychiatric assessment and intervention

  • Case management and recovery-focused care for diverse mental health presentations

  • Coordination with acute services, GPs, and allied health professionals

About the Role:

As the Partnerships Manager – Home and Community Care , you’ll lead the development and implementation of strategic partnerships that increase awareness of Uniting’s home care services and improve client referrals. This role plays a critical part in expanding service reach and ensuring more people have access to quality care.

Y u’ll work across sectors—health, government, corporate, and community—to foster long-term, trust-based relationships that contribute to Uniting’s mission and growth.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy focused on referral growth
  • Identify and advance strategic partnerships and new ventures
  • Lead joint projects with government, corporate, and non-profit partners
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth delivery of partnership initiatives
  • Create educational materials for external partners and stakeholders
  • Support training to enhance team engagement with referrer networks
  • Represent Uniting at industry, government, and community events
  • Report on performance metrics including referral volume, uptake, and outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, healthcare, or community field - OR equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years’ experience in partnerships, stakeholder engagement, or business development within aged care, healthcare, disability, or community services
  • Experience working with My Aged Care, home care reforms, or related funding models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and contract negotiation
  • Comfortable representing an organisation at public events, roundtables, and industry forums
  • Proven ability to engage with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community groups
  • Driver’s Licence, WWVP and NDISWC

As Growth Lead, this is a new key role in driving the expansion of Uniting’s Home and Community Care services. You will be responsible for identifying business development opportunities, crafting and executing growth strategies, and collaborating across teams to bring new services to life.

p>You’ll support planning, budgeting, and performance reporting to help ensure growth initiatives are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with local community needs.

p>Role Accountabilities:

  • Drive service expansion into new geographic regions across NSW and ACT where Uniting currently has limited or no client or workforce presence.
  • Identify growth opportunities using market and service delivery data
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans and growth plan packages
  • Apply a sales-driven approach to business development and service growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, recruitment) for service rollouts
  • Align growth initiatives with local goals by partnering with regional leadership

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Years of experience in business development, sales and analysis, growth marketing, or service expansion, ideally within healthcare or community care sectors.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling services in new markets within Home Care sector
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with home care and provider networks.
