Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Business Analyst with proven experience in enterprise data platform projects. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a deep understanding of complex data ecosystems. You will play a key role in driving data migration initiatives, documenting intricate data sources, and supporting the delivery of high-impact data solutions.
**In this role you will be responsible for:**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for enterprise data platform initiatives.
+ Conduct deep dives into source data from a variety of systems, identifying key structures, relationships, and transformation needs.
+ Document complex data sources with clarity and precision to support development and migration efforts.
+ Estimate and quantify effort required for data migrations, including source analysis, mapping, and validation.
+ Engage with stakeholders across multiple business units, managing competing priorities and aligning expectations.
+ Work with custom SQL datasets and Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms to support dynamic data environments.
+ Apply a working understanding of SQL to validate data, support analysis, and assist in solution design.
+ Maintain strong customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparency and alignment.
**To be successful in this role your skills and experience should include:**
+ Proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise data platform or data migration projects.
+ Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and document complex data sources.
+ Experience with effort estimation for data-related initiatives.
+ Hands-on experience with custom SQL datasets and CDC (highly desirable).
+ Solid understanding of SQL and relational data concepts.
+ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.
