**A Day in the Life**
We have an exciting new opportunity to join Medtronic as a Senior Training Education Specialist based in Sydney and working across our dynamic and highly successful Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business.
Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. In this role, the successful individual will lead the regional "in the field" employee education and training activities supporting CRM employees including new hire training. You will play a critical role in being the education lead for product launches, as well as be accountable for development and promotion of programs and resources essential for annual re-certification and continuing professional development.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Ensure Medtronic personnel maintain a high level of technical proficiency with products, technologies, and relevant procedural training.
+ Develop, implement, and oversee a structured annual recertification program that reinforces marketing strategies and ensures the continued enhancement of technical skills.
+ Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design and execute education plans for new product launches, coordinating training initiatives for both Medtronic field staff and customers to drive successful adoption of new technologies across ANZ.
+ Active involvement in new hire training by supporting in-person training, plus field coaching, supervision, and competency assessments to ensure readiness for certification.
+ Support the customer education manager by involvement in customer events and training programs as required, to meet the educational needs of healthcare professionals.
+ Monitor and manage product training metrics, providing detailed reports and insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ 7 years of professional experience in electrophysiology, nursing, allied health, engineering, and/or the implantable cardiac devices.
+ Knowledge of education and training techniques; valuable to have certifications in instructional design or adult learning.
