**What's the role**
The Prelude FLNG facility is stationed approximately 450 km Northeast of Broome, Western Australia, in Australian Commonwealth Ocean waters of 250 meters depth? It is one of the first of its kind, comprising of sub-sea wells tied back to a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility, which encompasses gas processing and liquefaction through to LNG/LPG/Condensate storage and offloading, with the requisite supporting marine and utilities facilities.
The Senior Control Systems Engineer is a key member of the Shell team supporting the Prelude FLNG Asset. This position is responsible for control systems engineering operations support. You will develop a close integrated working relationship with all relevant stakeholders across asset's business functions. You will be responsible for discipline engineering assurance, development and roll out of local technical strategies and support development of technical skills.
You will work extensively with reliability, integrity assurance, safety critical and production critical tasks, Management of Change and documentation processes to ensure Shell Australia's business targets are met. For this key role it is also important to note that the incumbent would be required to frequently participate and generate risk assessments, prepare technical datasheets, reports, and technical specifications. The role also works closely with the production support team and maintenance execution team.
**What you'll be doing**
Some of the key deliverables and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Primarily based in the Perth office, but with occasional travel to site, the Senior Control Systems engineer will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
+ Commitment to health, safety and protection of the environment.
+ Demonstrate safe work practices, take active part in safety meetings, and advise relevant personnel of any non-conforming conditions.
+ Develop, roll out and maintain a program assuring high reliability of facility Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.
+ Implement and maintain ongoing proactive technical monitoring business process for facility Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.
+ Perform routine identification of cost reduction and defect elimination opportunities.
+ Manage lifecycle management process for facility Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.
+ Establish systems maintenance spare parts requirements. Support the procurement of these spare parts and set up spare parts management system.
+ Develop Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems plant changes to achieve improved safety, reliability, and reduced maintenance cost.
+ Develop SIS changes in full alignment with functional safety lifecycle in accordance with facility practices and standards (AS 61511).
+ Develop and implement non-engineered overrides in the Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems following requirements of Management of Overrides Management Manual.
+ Develop and review new brownfield designs & installations in compliance with corporate standards and engineering practices.
+ Ensure high quality technical advice to operation and maintenance teams which deliver integrity and reliability outcomes.
+ Conduct and support troubleshooting and investigation of failures utilizing root cause analysis techniques.
+ Develop major turnaround work scopes and support their execution for Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.
+ Development of procedures, and practices.
+ Ensure that Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems documentation, calculations, software configurations and data are kept up to date.
+ Maintain cybersecurity of Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.
+ Act as Contract Holder for assigned systems vendors maintenance contracts.

+ Proficient and experienced with Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems, interfaces, and protocols, as well as having sound knowledge of measuring methods, field instruments, and actuated valves.
+ Demonstrated capability to quickly & accurately identify, engineer and execute engineering solutions and own the respective business processes with a hands-on approach.

As our energy continues to strengthen, we have an opportunity for a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join our Energy Team. In this role, you will be working on our extensive Grid Interconnection Studies whilst gaining diverse experience across Islanded Systems, diverse power system studies (BESS, Onshore transmission) and you will gain opportunities to progress into Owner's Engineer (OE) roles.
**How you'll make a difference**
+ Be involved in projects from feasibility through to concept and detailed design, including engineering for the integration of solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems, and performing cable rating studies using CYMCAP.
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of AS Standards, National Electricity Rules, NSP standards, and relevant technical regulations in the design, installation, and grid compliance of electrical infrastructure.
+ Conduct grid interconnection and system planning studies for utility-scale renewables, storage, hybrid systems, and large industrial loads, while delivering concept designs and grid due diligence for new connections.
+ Perform Owner's Engineer duties such as design reviews and site inspections, support grid compliance testing, and collaborate closely with stakeholders including clients, OEMs, NSPs, and contractors.
+ Contribute to major multidisciplinary renewable projects with strong teamwork, technical report writing, and presentation skills, while supporting strategic growth in ESG, sustainability, and energy transition initiatives.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**
Amentum is seeking an **Electrical Power Engineer** to support a requirement for a US Government contract in the town of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia. This position supports efforts to be performed by Amentum including facilities Construction, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and Support Services in an austere and remote location. Performance requires several unique functions given the isolated location of the Site which resides on a 4,400-acre facility which is self-sufficient and generates its own power and water. The contract supports Project Task Order (PTO) related efforts varying in complexity from minor/major system upgrades, renovations, to existing facilities, and new construction. The priority is to implement and maintain a successful O&M program to provide life, health and safety for site personnel, while ensuring continuous operations of the site infrastructure.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ US Citizen with active U.S government clearance - TS/SCI with polygraph.
+ A degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, and hold Professional Engineer (PE) licensure as an Electrical Engineer
+ Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medium and low voltage industrial power distribution.
+ Experience in design of medium and low voltage distribution.
+ Experience with high voltage distribution and frequency conversion equipment
+ Experience working in secured/restricted areas, data centers (power and cooling), performing configuration management activities, and knowledge of the Uptime Institute Tier configuration topologies
+ Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience with the concepts, design, and engineering of electrical power distribution from both power generation and public utility power to rack mounted equipment
+ A thorough understanding of SCADA systems and Building Management Systems.
