**About the role:**
This role will support the delivery of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) including:
+ Risk and Control Self-Inspection (RCSA)
+ Issue Management
+ Incident Management
+ Controls Assurance (CA)
+ The banks Self-Inspection regime
+ Associated internal and regulatory reporting
In addition, this role provides support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and wider Risk Management team in the delivery of the risk management framework to the Oceania branch.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Ensure that risk is appropriately managed and that processes meet applicable risk management standards and/or prudential guidelines.
+ Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to comply with all bank rules, policies and procedures and relevant regulatory prudential standards and requirements for Australia and New Zealand.
+ Continuous drive to improve and strengthen the organisation's operational risk management framework and assist in the enhancement of the ORMF to ensure it keep pace with regulatory expectations in Australia and New Zealand.
+ Manage periodic attestation processes such as ensuring all risk events have been captured, policies and procedures remain up to date and business heads understand the risk profiles of their business.
+ Partner with the business and support functions to provide trusted advice on risk management practices and the development of an effective and efficient risk and control framework.
+ Develop and deliver training and workshops to refresh risk management skills and competencies and educate staff in the in the Oceania business as required.
+ Assist in the tracking and timely resolution of risk events and associated counters measures.
+ Work with the business and support functions to ensure that the countermeasures are fit for purpose and that the controls are well designed and will mitigate identified risks.
+ Preparation of Risk Management Committee agendas and minutes.
+ General administrative duties on behalf of the CRO and Risk Management Team (inc. diary management, arranging travel, filing and archiving.
**What we are looking for:**
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine interest and drive to learn about risk management. We will provide you with the knowledge and training to get involved across a broad range of risk management activities.
Ideally you will have 1 years' experience working in an operational risk, enterprise risk or audit function in financial services, with exposure to APRA & RBNZ (or another banking regulatory agency) regulations. However, we will also give consideration for recent graduates (in a related discipline), with a good understanding of operational risk management best practice and a grounding in the Three Lines of Defence principals of risk management.
Outstanding administration skills including use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
You will be highly organised and efficient, able to multitask and work autonomously and proactively. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills are essential, as well as a personable and professional manner.

Due to an outgoing doctor who has left the clinic to pursue other interests and the recent addition of a new occupational medicine client, more GPs are needed take over the departed doctor's patient load and cater for more occupational health work required by the new client. The clinic is extremely busy with the capacity to see up to 6 patients an hour hence the ideal candidate will need to be available at least 3 days a week. The incoming GP will have the choice of doing solely GP work or occupational health, or a combination of both if they wish. Non-VR doctors who are able to work independently on their training programs or fellowship pathways without any supervision are also eligible to apply. - Completion of risk assessments related to WHS hazards for contractors operations
- Measure sites' performance against published requirements in safety policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies.
- Analyze safety metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the WHS risk is highest.
- Perform frequent site WHS audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site. Implement solutions.
- Audit record-keeping practices and Global Safety Database (Austin) entries to be aligned with global safety standards and local regulations.
- Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their WHS responsibilities under each policy.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications and the use of pivot tables and the development of charts and graphics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Distribution Centre or Manufacturing EHS with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees
- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment

Reporting to the Senior WHS Country Leader, you'll collaborate with various teams to drive safety initiatives.
In this role, you will dive deep into Operations processes; identify risks through data and first-hand experience; build and execute programs, and improve processes to eliminate risks; and influence Operations to sustain a culture of safety. This role will focus on coordinating and leading large, strategic projects / programs within Amazon Business Units (BUs) and will be strongly focused on injury and accident prevention as well as improvements across health, safety and wellness.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify risks and improve WHS standards.
- Conduct WHS regulatory research and promote a safety-focused culture.
- Stay attuned to changing regulations and internal WHS performance to change standards when required.
- Measure business and site performance against published requirements in WHS standards. For all deficiencies, ensure plans are implemented to address areas of weakness.
- Understand and analyze WHS data and information (e.g. WHS laws, regulations, bench marking studies, industry best practices) to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where risk is highest.
- Manage regulatory relationships, including interactions, and identify trend areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and write technical reports on safety metrics and performance.
- Lead strategic projects to prevent injuries and enhance WHS practices.
- Support building WHS competency and awareness across different business units. Lead, develop and deploy a standard method for monitoring work performed by contractors, and consultants, in accordance with WHS standards.
Basic Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of growing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
- Bachelor's degree
- Deep knowledge of Safe Work Australia WHS Act, regulations, and Codes of Practice
- Familiarity with SafeWork Victoria/NSW and Heavy Vehicle National Law
- Proven ability to identify root causes and mitigate hazards
- Exceptional communication and project management skills
- Strong judgment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading multiple direct reports.

# Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a high-performance team to develop and manage complex Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) project programs. You will assist functional leads to ensure requirements are properly integrated and be responsible for overall project ES&H execution. Your leadership will help achieve ES&H performance expectations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Facilitates execution of the safety component of a health and safety program inclusive of technical and administrative aspects for assigned area.
+ Drafts and implements Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans and procedures, and training program.
+ Provides input to Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, Commissioning, and other groups involving significant safety and health issues, risks, and techniques to reduce adverse impacts on the project.
+ Researches complex issues and regulatory requirements, performs studies and risk assessments,
+ Prepares documentation and reports.
+ Supervises an Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) program on a project inclusive of technical and administrative aspects; compliance activities; and processes and plans.
+ Supervises EHS personnel and facilitates their development through assignments, coaching, and mentoring.
+ Assures that ESH requirements are properly interpreted and integrated in planning documents, design criteria, construction and operational plans, schedules, training programs, and documents.
+ Applies ESH Management System and standards to achieve, maintain, and continually improve EHS program execution.
+ Conducts assessments and inspections, and participates in audits, to confirm ESH compliance with contractual commitments, laws and regulations, environmental permit requirements, and standards.
+ Confirms that environmental permitting, specialized studies, assessments, reports, and regulatory submittals are completed as required.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Engineering, or a related field (or international equivalent) related to environmental, safety, health or science-related discipline and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
+ White Card mandatory for all construction sites
+ Lead Auditor certification is highly regarded
+ Knowledge of CASA regulations and Drug and Alcohol Management Plans (DAMPs) is essential
+ ICAM or TapRoot Certificate preferred.

+ 510+ years in Work Health and Safety (WHS), with at least 3+ years in a construction safety leadership role
+ Proven experience managing high-risk construction activities such as:

+ Crane operations and airspace protection
